Pleasant country hotel
Pros:

Nice clean room, staff friendly, good breakfast plenty of choice.

Restaurant menu not very exciting
Nothing in the village apart from houses and the hotel
Quadrant shower was cramped

Beautiful village location, breakfast was very, very good, room a bit hot during night but was weekend off very high tem

It was very clean and in a lovely quiet setting

Cons:

Nothing, but was attending Newcastle horse racing and on the site said 12km away when it was over 15 miles away

Enjoyed our brief stay. With some fine tuning it would be perfect. Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, lovely staff. Nice accommodation and good location.

Cons:

Bar closed at 10pm on a Friday night, even though we were residents. Litter blowing around outside entrance to accommodation block.

Pros:

The room was spotless, comfortable and very accessible, I have difficulty with mobility at times so the wheel in shower room was perfect. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

The village and surrounding area is beautiful, exactly what we were looking for.

If you're wanting somewhere with lots going on around you, its probably not for you. But if you're after a lovely peaceful break it's perfect.

Pros:

It's a lovely place we've stayed at before.
Dinner and breakfast were both lovely, nice size car park, staff friendly

Cons:

Pillows were a little flat and not too soft, and there was some sort of delivery at 4am to the property right outside, which obviously woke us up.

Great find with excellent food.
Pros:

Room very comfortable, spacious and very clean
Breakfast was excellent - ordered the day before and service was great, food well presented and tasty

Cons:

We could hear everything happening in the room next to us re kettle, toilet, shower. So was awoken earlier than we wanted to be up.

Radiator in bathroom didn't work. Shower was quite small.

Overall, a lovely weekend stay. Ideal location for the wedding we were attending nearby. Thankyou.

Cons:

A few cobwebs in bathroom. Water left in kettle and coffee maker from previous guests.
