I love Appenzell and this hotel. I’ve stayed in two other hotels here before and enjoy this one the
Pros:

The breakfast was great, and the staff asked me if I would like an egg and how I wanted it prepared.
The location of the hotel in the town square was perfect and conveniently located. The restaurant felt warm and comfortable and I loved the preserved history and look.

Cons:

Sometimes the elevator did not work to come downstairs.

Ich hatte ein spontanes Upgrade erhalten, das hat mich sehr gefreut. Das Frühstück war super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt. Ich komme gerne wieder :)

Schönes Hotel im Zentrum
Pros:

Lage sehr zentral in der Stadt gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus vorhanden. Zimmer sauber und geräumig, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Alles in allem eine gelungene Reise. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Wunderbares Frühstück, mit allem was man sich wünscht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Es liegt am Landsgemeindelatz. Schön wäre es, wenn dieser wunderbare Platz verkehrsfrei wäre. Das Städtchen ist nicht so riesig, als dass man unbedingt mit dem Auto ins Zentrum fahren müsste.

Cons:

Eine kleine Kaffemaschine im Zimmer wäre das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Die Hotels rund um den Landsgemeindplatz lassen die ganz Nacht das Licht brennnen, als würden sie für den Stromverbrauch bezahlt.

We would happily stay here again
Pros:

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. All the staff were excellent - at reception, breakfast, dinner and cleaning. The beer garden / outdoor area was nice for relaxing and enjoying a drink. It's a 5 minute walk from the main station and even closer to trams and trolley buses. A nice extra, they provide free tickets to the excellent Kunsthaus museum.

Sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, man konnte auch bestellen, wenn was nicht am Buffet erhältlich war (Rührei etc.). Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder.
