قضيت ليلة واحدة في فندق أماريس، وكانت أول تجربة لي في فندق بنجمة واحدة. والحقيقة أنه فندق بسيط ومناسب لذوي الدخل المحدود، ولا أعيبه؛ فقد نمنا فيه والحمد لله وتجاوزنا بعض الملاحظات الموجودة، مثل عدم توفر الغلاية أو المكوى، وقلة الخدمات، مع تلفزيون صغير غير مناسب للمشاهدة.
الفندق مناسب لمن يريد مكانًا للنوم فقط ثم يغادر في اليوم التالي، فقد وصلنا إليه بعد المغرب وغادرنا صباحًا عند الساعة الثامنة متجهين إلى بونشاك، ولم نقضِ فيه يومًا كاملًا.
من وجهة نظري، لا أنصح به لمن لديهم أطفال، لأنه غير مناسب لإقامة العائلات مع الأطفال، كما أن من اعتادوا على فنادق الخمس نجوم قد يجدون الإقامة فيه غير مريحة أو كئيبة بعض الشيء؛ فالفرق واضح في التصميم والتنظيم ومستوى النظافة والخدمات مقارنة بالفنادق الفاخرة.
لكن للأمانة، كان الإفطار متنوعًا ولذيذًا، والطعام جيد ولا يختلف كثيرًا من ناحية الطعم، وإنما الاختلاف في مستوى الديكور والتنظيم والخدمات العامة.
كما أن موقعه أتاح لنا زيارة بعض المولات القريبة، ما بين المولات الحديثة والفخمة والمولات العادية، وكانت تجربة مختلفة وبسيطة.
أشكر إدارة الفندق والعاملين فيه على تعاونهم واهتمامهم، وأعتبرها تجربة جديدة ومختلفة، والحمد لله على كل حال.

Excellent location without doubt. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was average.

Cons:

Cockroaches in the room - all 6 rooms had this issue. 3 rooms had leaking air con, did complaint but no action taken. Had to wait for 15 minutes to have the bread refilled during breakfast.Suggest hotel to station more staff during peak periods. My room, 710 safe box had no batteries. My colleague hit a baby cockroach and the stain was on the bathroom glass - not cleaned for the entire 3 nights.
