Ideal location with friendly and helpful staff; superb room and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The breakfast was superb - significantly more tasty than many hotel breakfasts.
The only minor niggle was that the water pressure in the bathroom was quite low so having a shower was a longer and cooler process.
The hotel sits on the main road atop a pub in a busy area. There isn't a lift so just be prepared. The rooms are nicely renovated and decorated, well equipped and comfortable except no A/C. Fridge, ironing board, Tea/Coffee, bathroom fully equipped too. Our Room was on the front of the hotel overlooking the street. We didn't eat there but there are many dining options, pubs and shops around.
Our biggest issue was it was very hot during our visit and the room has no A/C. We had to open the windows which would have been OK except, there were very loud pub patrons sitting outside on the patio until well past 1 AM and we were getting up early. I think the hotel needs to be aware of their overnight guests and be more considerate of that aspect. Also, there is no designated parking so be aware. We were only there one night so we managed but it did impact our stay.
Nothing was to much trouble, able to get breakfast in bed, room was lovely, bathroom was stunning, brilliant location, bed was comfy, fan in the room is amazing as it gets warm,
There were hair clips on the floor from previous guests, wallpaper is peeling in places, would of been nicer to have a king bed as apposed to singles pushed together considering it was a suite and the price. Asked for toast with breakfast and it didn't arrive, staff ruined the surprise of the cocktails to my partner which was disappointing,

Very clean room, well presented. It was cosy as suggested.
Food was great in the bar downstairs, the young waitress we had was very polite and helpful.
The buffet breakfast looked ok, but we prefer a freshly cooked breakfast.
Blind was broken in the room, we are unable to let much fresh air into the room on a day with 24c weather.
There are no lifts so anyone with access issues should be aware.

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was situated right where everything important was such as shops, pubs and near the beach. The staff were brilliant and very friendly and happy to answer any questions. The hotel was immaculate and the room was really clean and comfortable. Bathroom was really nice and spacious.
The only issue we had was the heat in the room. Despite the curtains closed and the blinds shut the room was still rather stuffy and warm, could have done with an extra fan.
Breakfast was fine - nothing special.
