Nice but still a bit disappointing

Cons:

Room was very warm, with no air-con, merely a fan. Were disturbed by what I think was the kitchen extractor fan at 0600 Sat as window would not close fully and the extractor fan was right outside the room window!

Pros:

The room was lovely and clean, the cleanliness of the hotel overall was very good, and the breakfast was really nice. The Management strive to make your time there relaxing and enjoyable, excellent customer service is a priority which is delivered by the Manager and the members of staff who are helpful, courteous and approachable.

Cons:

Too many stairs especially if you are on the second floor, I have trouble with my knees so at times I struggled with the stairs.

THE STAIRS WE WERE ON THE TOP FLOOR BUT THE STAFF WERE VERY GOOD AND TOOK OUR LUGGAGE UP TO THE ROOM AND COLLECTED IT WHEN WE LEFT.

Not good, need comments above addressing.
Pros:

Breakfast as good as anywhere else.

Cons:

My partner being short in height found it difficult to get on the bed,the shower was very difficult to operate.Also when going back to the room in the early hours, it seemed as though the aircon was on and the room and my partner were freezing.

Amazing from check in to check out
Pros:

Spotlessly clean, helpful, friendly and polite staff.
Nothing was too much trouble, room was comfortable and an amazing shower.
Breakfast was amazing, asked about allergens, I’m coeliac and the staff member went to check and came back to explain, and another massive positive no genius bread for toast, schar toast and a mountain of it. We will defiantly be returning, the GM should be so proud of all their staff as they do an amazing job 😍

Great carvery
Pros:

Called in for lunch. Had to write a review to say how excellent the food was. I had the carvery and it was delicious, lots of choice, everything perfectly cooked and presented. Friendly service and value for money. Will be calling in more often.

My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we’ll be back.
Pros:

The room was as described and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The evening meal we had and the breakfast were exceptionally good and great value for money. Everywhere was spotlessly clean even though the place was always busy. Great atmosphere too.

Cons:

No lift, but staff did offer to carry my case. No phone in the room and no light on the dressing table. Minor niggles really and would not stop me from staying again.
