Pros:

J’ai moins aimé la salle de bain, il n’y avait pas de serviette pour s’essuyer les mains et la douche était difficile à prendre à cause du débit de l’eau qui allait dans tout les sens donc on avait très peu d’eau.

Cons:

Dans l’ensemble c’était super, très propre, bien situé, et le personnel très gentil.

Es una casa estilo colonial con mucho encanto, ubicadoa muy cerca de la plaza de Armas, la amabilidad del personal, su limpieza, el desayuno y la amplitud de las habitaciones

Pros:

An amazing place to stay in Arequipa. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect-right in the center but still very quiet. The beautiful and cozy courtyard made the hotel feel especially charming.

Absolut fantastisch!
Das Hotel Casona Solar ist ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Rückzugsort im ansonsten recht trubeligen Arequipa. Sobald man das Hotel betritt, vergisst man die Hektik der Stadt komplett.
Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – man ist super schnell bei allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein absolutes Highlight war für uns das Frühstück: Die selbstgemachten Marmeladen sind ein wahrer Traum! Das gesamte Personal war zudem unglaublich aufmerksam und freundlich.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und können dieses Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

Not great value for money.
Pros:

Beautiful restored historic building. Great location. Nice in-house breakfast. Allowed early check in but charged almost full rate for it.

Cons:

No air ventilation into room only via bathroom which opened onto courtyard and had no privacy. (we may have been unlucky with room allocated to us) We had read numerous reviews on how friendly the staff were. We found them uncharacteristically unfriendly for Peru. The boxed takeaway breakfast we were given had stale mouldy sandwich provided and had to be thrown out.

Great oasis of peace and comfort!
Pros:

Most comfortable, clean and beautiful hotel. The bed is amazing and the garden an oasis of peace in the exciting, but hectic city of Arequipa. Breakfast ist excellent and the staff very friendly. Especially the Dutch owner had many stories to tell about the history of the building and the country of Peru. Not to forget the valuable inside travel advice for our next days towards colca and Pino.

Cons:

Slightly pricy for my standards, but the hotel backs it up!

Casona storica con ambienti accoglienti e curati
Pros:

Struttura storica, molto accogliente e ben curata. Il giardino e gli spazi comuni sono una piacevolissima isola felice in cui rilassarsi. La camera è stata davvero molto apprezzata, con i suoi interni in pietra sillar, il materiale tipico della zona. La signora che gestisce la struttura è stata sempre cortese e disponibile nella soddisfare le nostre richieste.
