Pros:

Great pub and the location was close to Apton Hall where we had a wedding. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food looked good but we were not eating there, even the next morning.

Cons:

Rooms were extremely hot! We had a fan but that was useless, even when drawing in cold air through the open windows. The joys of summer!!

Overall a comfortable enough room, in a lovely location and great food options in the pub
Pros:

It was very clean, well kept, the pub was nice as well

Cons:

Needs better bedside sockets for charging device maybe some USB sockets. Wished my room had been a Double bed not 2 singles

Worth a visit
Pros:

Location and staff very friendly lovely clean room

Cons:

They had a function on that night we were there so we were not allowed to have drink or food which was a great shame. Unusual as most place would have keep a place for residents

Friendly stay recommended
Pros:

Cosy room. Good shower. Close to the pub all on one level. Late check out 11am

Cons:

Got a little unlucky with a contract gardener trimming a hedge outside our window in the morning with petrol powered hedge cutter. He was apologetic after we told him we were still in the room.

Comfortable stay, in a rural setting.
Pros:

The Rooms are separate from the pub, by the outside seating which we didn’t have a problem with the noise.
Very comfortable bed, staff very friendly, food at the pub was nice.

Disappointing facilities, got the impression the hotel side of the business wasn’t important
Pros:

The food was lovely and a convenient location for our purpose.

Cons:

There was no air conditioning and it was like being in an oven, a desk fan was provided by the bed but it was insufficient for the size of room. We asked for an extra fan and were told they don’t have any more , “everyone is hot”.
The WiFi didn’t work and despite reporting it to staff it never worked.
There were no towels and half a loo roll so had to go and ask for those.
Even though we only slept on top of the duvet , the sheets etc would not stay tucked in , they seemed too small for the bed🤷‍♀️
The room was not serviced the whole time we were there and we had to ask for teabags and milk, the bins were not emptied and we had to buy a cloth to clean the tea cups in the bathroom sink. Nobody had cleaned behind the bedside cabinets in quite some time by the looks of it.

The furniture and bathroom were nicely done but anything else seemed to be done before you arrive and that’s it.

It was after all pleasant
