It was after all pleasant

Pros:

Location was excellent for a wedding nearby.
Bed was comfortable.
Spacious and good tea -making facilities.
We didn't have breakfast.

Cons:

Only one bath towel and no bath mat.
Water from shower flooded over the floor even through the doorway onto carpet.
Staff didnt appear particularly friendly on arrival or departure, infact building was locked in the morning.
I called to someone I saw inside and was told to put room key through the letterbox.
No hope you had a nice stay !

Beautiful garden and delicious food
Pros:

The pub is darling, with a beautiful area outside in the shade of big trees and umbrellas. The food was excellent and fairly priced. We had some different small plates and dessert. All really good. The lady that welcomed us was kind and available.

Cons:

There was no WiFi, not even in the pub. And the toilet seat was dirty when we arrived, so that was a put off.
There were no teabags provided, and even the coffee was random (five decafs and one regular). There was a small stool in the room but not a proper chair.
Breakfast wasn’t available until 10am on weekdays, we were given a reason (because of the school) that didn’t really explain why.

All round excellent. Could not fault it at all. Pub is also very nice and the food was excellent

I would have like to stay here longer
Pros:

This is a lovely place to stay , the rooms look out on the gardens which were very well maintained, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well equipped

Cons:

Just a little bit more attention to details ,ie. The bedside lamps need a dust .

Been before, would come again, would recommend.
Pros:

Clean and simple, but had everything we needed. Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere.
Fan was a nice touch on a warm night.
Iron and Ironing board, teas, coffees.

Cons:

I loved the novelty of the planes landing at the nearby airport, but they were very low! A quick google search tells you the curfew and starting hours of the planes though. I've stayed here before and not been heard any planes though.

All my family and friends who stayed there only had complimentary thi gs to say about the accommodation.

Cons:

Only minor suggestion is a vent or small venting window to keep the room refresher in the heat.
