The matinence personnel was very friendly and helpful. Our air conditioning was not working properly and had to be fixed

A great location and was very clean.

Cons:

Our air conditioning was not working and maintenance had to come by every 2-3 hours to have it run for an hour or two before it went out again. We were offered another room on our last night of our stay at around 9PM, which was not beneficial having our 10 month old with us.

Cons:

The front desk lady (Zhaney) was the most disrespectful, uneducated, rude, and lack of manners. The hotel room was uncomfortable and the a/c was not cooling. Someone came I. To check on it and he said that he could give us a fan if we wanted one??? The re was a lot of loud noises late at night in the hallway and we called the front desk and the lady said that she couldn’t do nothing about it that people are checking in and there’s nothing to be done.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend!
Pros:

Very nicely located to town -we walked everywhere! Great restaurants close by. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean!

Pros:

AC not able to keep room cool, meaning neither of us slept well for either of our nights. At checkout, didn't even ask about our stay. Once told about the AC, made no attempt to offer any accommodation or even address the issue other than to make a snotty comment. Luckily Charleston itself was nice. Will come back, but NOT HERE!

But overall the room was nice, the beds were nice roomy enough for 4 adults for 1 night

Pros:

The employees are great and they make all of the difference! The hotel is still in a pretty bad neighborhood. We were able to park down the street in public parking near the bus depot. I am sure that if you could secure safe parking, or better valet parking, your guests would enjoy that very much! There are some safety issues on the street!
