Pros:

If you are visiting Fontainebleau to explore the town or see the Château de Fontainebleau, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location could not be better—the château is directly across the street. It is literally just a few steps away, and you are already at the entrance.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of everything. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and always ready to help, give advice, and recommend where to go and what to see.

I am very happy and completely satisfied that I chose to stay at this hotel. Thank you so much for your excellent service and warm hospitality!

un emplacement ideal mais un rafraichissement à prevoir pour un deux etoiles qui se respecte !
Pros:

l'emplacement est exceptionnel au coeur de la ville et tout proche des bars / restaurants de fontainebleau ! l'amabilité du personnel , très chalheureux accueil très pro !

Cons:

les chambres un peu vieillottes ( porte du meuble qui a failli nous tomber dessus , absence d'air conditionné pendant la canicule , qualité du lit , strict minimum pour savon et douche )

Cons:

Chaud au départ dans la chambre - après nous étions en période de canicule! Douche : évacuation de l eau moyenne, bonde à changer

L’hôtel à choisir dans Fontainebleau !
Pros:

Nous avons passé une nuit superbe au sein de cet hôtel. Le personnel, que ce soit l’équipe du matin ou du soir, est accueillante et agréable. Nous avons pu bénéficier d’un surclassement gratuit, nous avons réservé une chambre pour 4 et nous avons eu le plaisir de dormir dans une suite entièrement rénovée, propre et confortable. L’hôtel Belle Fontainebleau se situe en plein centre ville, au milieu des commerces et des restaurants et à deux pas du château de Fontainebleau. Le petit déjeuner du matin était plus que satisfaisant.

Cons:

Nous n’avons rien à dire de négatif.

Super hôtel refait à neuf avec un accueil très chaleureux. Je suis venu pour une conférence à l’INSEAD, et son emplacement est idéal : à seulement 10 minutes, en plein centre-ville. Chambre confortable et refaite à neuf récemment, très bonne literie

A rustic in the centre of ville empathetic 2 nights in stay in a typical French hotel.
Pros:

For me it was the closeness to the Chateau, centre of the ville and parking near by.
I also liked the rustic feel of the building. Staff were very kind helpful. Breakfast was typically French, which was great.
It felt secure. And there was WIFi.
Staff helped my husband carry the bags upstairs.
2 Fans were supplied to cool the room.
Beds were great very comfortable 2 small doubles.
Windows opened and windows had shutters to keep the sun out.

Cons:

Some ppl may find walking up 3 flights of stairs difficult, our room was at the top of the hotel RM 013
It doesn’t have Air Conditioning.

Hot rooms in a great location. Clean with helpful staff
Pros:

Great location. Staff were keen to help.

Cons:

Very hot in the rooms and fans provided were not very effective. Staff did their best to help solve but didn’t have much they could do. The two bed suite is actually one large room with two double beds in it.
