Great, clean and comfortable place to stay
Pros:

I visited Osaka every year. And each time i stayed at this place. I stayed here long ago when TV was not included in the room and had to be requested. Now it is included in each room and has been standard for many years now. They did some fresh paint on the building recently so it looks new now too.

The staffs were friendly and helpful and they do great job at making the place comfortable and clean for the guests.

Wifi is fine and working. The location also makes this place attractive. Just short walking distance to Dobutsuen-Mae station to use the midosuji subway line (red line) which to me as a tourist is the most important subway line in Osaka. Also walking distance to shin-imamiya station to go to Kansai airport or to Nara.

Pros:

Ideal for solo trips! This mature hostel features private rooms plus social common areas. Super clean, incredibly convenient, staff are lovely, budget-friendly — totally recommend staying here.

Very glad I stayed here. Would recommend.
Pros:

So many facilities: from a free bathhouse next door, to bicycles to rent, to laundry machines (which from experience aren’t always a given).

Super close to a good train station.

Very reasonable price.

Clean, convenient, safe
Pros:

The room was beautiful and convenient, japanese with storage. The place was extremely clean, showers had everything you needed and were cosy (there's a girls-only shower area for those who prefer it), toilets were japanese-style advanced, some great places to eat nearby. I stayed there at a time where I needed my own space to focus on some things and didn't want to be too social, and this place definitely has allowance for that (though there are also a few regular social events and common areas for those who are interested in connecting).

Estaba limpio.

Cons:

El chekin es hasta las 23, mi vuelo llegaba por la noche y una vez pagado me escribieron que no podía llegar más tarde esa hora por lo que tuve que coger un taxi que me costó un ojo de la cara.
Las duchas están en la planta baja y yo estaba en el tercer piso.

Tout, surtout l'ambiance, le prix pour une chambre privée, l'emplacement etc... Vraiment faut pas s'attendre au confort maximum à ce prix-là mais le rapport qualité/prix est vraiment exceptionnel. Et j'ai pas profité de la common room, mais il y a de l'activité TOUS les soirs, et les gens sont tous cool ici. Profitez-en si vous voulez rencontrer du monde !

Rien, à part comme déjà dit dans les commentaires qu'un petit rafraîchissement des murs ferait vraiment du bien

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, świetna obsługa i super hostelowy klimat. Nie jest to typowy hostel, oferują głównie pokoje jednoosobowe- ale mają świetny stosunek jakości do ceny.
Na pewno wrócę do Toyo przy następnej wizycie w Osace :)
