Golden Silk Boutique Hotel - Hanoi Old Quarter

Location of this hotel was brilliant. Right in the heart of the old quarter. Rooms were good size, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The showers were a little bit on the slow pressure side. But having travelled through Vietnam it would seem that’s everywhere we go.. staff were attentive and helpful. Rooftop bar was great.. and reasonably priced for a roof top hotel. Breakfast was ok, not much variety but we all managed to eat something.

The location is great. It’s in the middle of the old quarter and you can walk everywhere. The atmosphere was very calming. The rooms were clean and the entrance felt very fancy. The service is incredible. Staff is very friendly. We had to leave some of our things in the hotel to do some other trips in between and they helped us with that. Hung helped us with our luggage. The breakfast was alright. there is a lot of variety. Overall a very nice experience.

We stay for 1 night here it very nice hotel great view and sky bar it very beautiful view ,Thao her was very nice reception and very welcoming us ,jut little thing our room air-conditioning was working that well hopefully we can visit vietnam again and will stay in this hotel again

The location was good. There was live music on the rooftop bar at night.

Great place to spend for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, the coffee is great and service is just as good Dai Duong provided excellent service and recommended alot of good places for us to see

Stayed here for 2 weeks and it was amazing. The location is absolutely spot on and the hotel itself was spotless and cannot fault it one bit. Special shout out to Ms Thao on reception, she helped us enormously with bookings, changes to bookings and advice for anything. Also big thank you to Peter, Hung and Quan the service you provide is outstanding. We cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone thinking of coming, you will not be disapointed.

If i could say one little thing is maybe have smart tvs in the room so people can watch some netflix at night when resting. We stayed in a few different hotels while travelling and they had tvs that we could watch netflix on.

Golden Silk is our home away from home. Every visit we made to the hotel was always warm and welcoming. We are part of their family. We even shared food the traditional vietnamese way. Special mention to Loan/Tracy who always has a helping hand, shen went out of her way to extend assistance that we needed.
