A proper castle experience!
Pros:

If you ever dreamt of staying in a proper castle, this is your chance! The rooms are authentic and spacious, but nonetheless very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff lovely. We also really enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant Gut Matzen right next to the castle as well as our walk through the adjacent park. Communication via WhatsApp was very swift and efficient. :)

Cons:

Like quite a few people already pointed out, there is no staff on site other than during breakfast. We did receive instructions on parking and how to get there with the email confirmation of our reservation, but it would have been nice to have somebody knowledgeable on site to provide some more information about the castle itself and things to do in the area. People with mobility issues should mention that with their reservation, as there can be quite a few stairs to climb....

Petit déjeuner très agréable. De belles salles pour une expérience intéressante.

Cons:

Des horaires de réception trop contraignants. Un check in compliqué. Tu le fais en ligne et tu dois le refaire? Et pas de réponses aux emails. Dommage.

Ein wirklich außergewöhnlicher und angenehmer Aufenthalt, den ich nur empfehlen kann.
Pros:

Ein Zimmer in einem richtigen Schloss ist schon sehr außergewöhnlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre, es ist kein Lift für Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken vorhanden, was aber verständlich ist, da es sich ja um ein Schloss handelt, das auch als Schloss erhalten wurde. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war einmalig schön, ausgestattet mit tollen, antiken Möbeln, Kronleuchter, großes Badezimmer mit Eckwanne, einfach gesagt, "königlich". Die Aussicht auf den Schlosspark und einen Teich, sowie auf die Berge war ebenfalls sehenswert. Ein Parkplatz, in der Nähe beim Tor zum Schloss-Innenhof war für die Hotelgäste vorhanden. Das Frühstück war reichlich und ausgiebig, einfach prima. Unterhalb vom Schloss war das Gasthaus "Gut Matzen", wo man ebenfalls kulinarisch gut aufgehoben ist. Die Lage um weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten, zb. Achensee, Schwaz, Rattenberg usw. zu erreichen, ist optimal.

Es hängt alles an der Erwartung. Wenn Sie ein tolles Schloss erwarten, im Stile eines super B&B, sind Sie hier richtig. Wir fanden es toll, die gut restaurierte Architektur zu bewundern, durch die verwinkelten Gänge zu laufen, die herrlich dekorierten Zimmer wie Bibliothek und Kapelle zu erforschen. Ein schöner Garten lädt zum Spazieren ein, man kann direkt vom Schloss aus wandern.

Cons:

Wenn Sie ein 4 Sterne Wellness Hotel erwarten, sind Sie komplett falsch. Man muss viele Treppen steigen, es gibt kein Restaurant im Schloss, und das Personal ist relativ kurz anwesend. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, aber die Auswahl ist auf 10 Gäste ausgelegt, und erst ab 8:30 verfügbar.

Authentic castle stay.
Pros:

Very cool castle staff. Very authentic. Great restaurant staff and gardens. Very secure. Large rooms.

Cons:

A little difficult finding entrance, but understand they don't want unwelcome visitors. Could see all the castle but understand for guest security.

Писать и хвалить этот замок можно вечность, надо обязательно попробовать самому. Прибывание здесь - ночь в музее, в котором ты сам начальник.
Однозначно рекомендую и вернусь снова!!!!

Pros:

Tout! Un endroit de rêve, on croirait être dans un conte de fées. Totale liberté de se balader dans le château pour visiter la chapelle, la bibliothèque... merveilleux.

Cons:

L'entrée du château est très mal indiquée, et il faut chercher le personnel. Mais une fois qu'on a les clés, c'est un enchantement!

Außergewöhnlich und Beeindruckend
Pros:

Es war beeindruckend. Es ist als ob man in der Zeit zurück reist. Alles ist liebevoll restauriert und eingerichtet. Es ist nicht nur eine Übernachtung, es ist ein Erlebnis. Es war außerdem alles sehr sauber. Nirgends Staub auf den Möbeln und Einrichtungsgegenständen. Wir können das Hotel wirklich empfehlen.

Cons:

Es ist ein bisschen schwierig den Parkplatz und den Zugang zu finden. Wir und auch die anderen Gäste hatten anfänglich Probleme den Eingang zu finden. Eventuell nach der Buchung eine kurze Beschreibung per Mail wäre hilfreich.
