The bed was not very comfortable and the shower had no water pressure at all.
Superb location, spacious and well cleaned rooms, and great entertainment at the pub for a good footy night. Loved the complementary savoury and sweet treats. After hours checkin available and plenty of parking spots.

The location was excellent as there were two supermarkets close by including the excellent Frewville Foodland. A drive thru bottle shop attached to the hotel had great selection and certainly cheaper than the full price of a bottle in the hotel. On arrival our rooms were upgraded so we had some more space to spread out. Good breakfast choices included in our deal and a good range of food options on the menu.
The Hotel itself is looking a little dated in some areas including the rooms. My main gripe was the traffic noise. We were on the fourth floor facing Glen Osmond road/Princes Highway and there wasn’t any double or triple glazing to deaden the noise from trucks going past at all hours so my sleep wasn’t the best. The Arkaba only has one lift and as housekeeping utilised it as well, it meant sometimes you were waiting longer for the lift. When they last renovated, consideration should have been made for another lift. It was my first and will be my last stay here as I value my sleep more than convenience.
Rooms clean. Activities there very social. Good place to eat, drink and be entertained. Staff friendly and obliging.
Sometimes room cleanliness could be better. Dusting edges of pelmets and pictures. Found fast food wrappers in pelmet area a while ago.
