Leider wurde der Pool renoviert. Von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hätte ich erwartet, dass man vorab darüber in Kenntnis gesetzt wird.

Great location, iconic but a few normal touches would improve stay.
Pros:

Location was great. Noisy outside but very quiet in room.
Staff very friendly and made excellent cappuccinos every morning.
Incorporation of ancient walls made hotel one of a kind.

Cons:

Room was in tower. Had steep and poorly lit stairs up to bedroom, so not for anyone with mobility issues or sleepwalks.
Very funky that there were no hooks or racks to hang towels

Great stay
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at the caro hotel. Everyone was very kind and the space was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and all of our needs were met. The location was also great. We would definitely stay here in the future should we return to Valencia!

A superb experience
Pros:

A super week in a lovely hotel. Goodsized room, comfortable bed, complimentary mini bar and room service tea/coffee as required.
The staff are truly excellent (especially the lady serving breakfasts), without exception friendly and eager to help.
The location could not be better - all the beautiful historic buildings, restaurants and shops close by and a short taxi ride to the beach.

Pros:

We were a group of friends visiting Valencia for a long weekend. The hotel was perfect for us. Friendly welcome, Bastian spent time with us helping plan our day, recommending and booking places to eat which were great. Rooms are nicely decorated and contemporary. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and thoughtful touches. Tea and coffee brought to you within minutes of requesting. Mini bar no extra charge and topped up daily. A truly exceptional hotel and good value for the 5 star environment and wonderful service from the hotel team. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best hotels we ever stayed at.
Pros:

We arrived after a long plane and train ride. We were welcomed with open arms and a welcome drink, which was very nice. The room was comfortable with a nice firm bed. The drinks and snacks in the mini-fridge were complementary, which you don't see much. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar has a great wine selection and it was great to relax at the bar after a long day sightseeing. We had breakfast several times during the week (which you had to pay extra for) and everything tasted great! The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

The bath tub was a bit slippery, but we put down a hand towel to help with that.
