My stay at ITC Grand Chola was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt that this was not simply a hotel, but an entire world designed for comfort, beauty, and rest.

The first thing that amazed me was the famous Avartana restaurant. I have never experienced food like this anywhere else in India. In my opinion, it deserves to stand alongside the finest French haute cuisine restaurants. Every dish felt like a work of art — creative, elegant, and deeply thoughtful. Even the desserts were extraordinary and unlike anything I had tasted before.

The room itself was designed in a very interesting way. The air circulation felt natural and calming, and I had the impression that the architecture may have been inspired by principles of Vastu. The atmosphere inside the room was peaceful, balanced, and luxurious without feeling excessive.

What also impressed me was the incredible attention to detail and abundance of amenities. There were plenty of towels, high-quality soaps, shampoos, creams, dental kits, and everything one could possibly need. Nothing ever felt limited or unavailable.

The hotel staff were consistently warm, professional, and genuinely helpful while remaining respectful and unobtrusive. They create an atmosphere where you truly feel special and cared for.

The hotel itself feels like a small city. There is a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, sauna, indoor spa jacuzzi, and even an outdoor jacuzzi area where men and women can relax together. There are countless places to explore inside the property — cafés, dessert places, bars, lounges, and restaurants. I especially loved the café serving rich hot chocolate and ice cream. With so many culinary options, you almost do not want to leave the hotel until you have tried everything.

Another thing I appreciated was how well the hotel combines Indian hospitality with international comfort. It fully matches high European standards while still preserving a uniquely Indian elegance and atmosphere.

This is one of the rare places where luxury does not feel artificial. Instead, it feels generous, calm, and deeply welcoming. I would gladly return again.

Everything is top notch

I frequently come here for work. The food good and varied, the staff helpful, the gym good with lovely trainers, the Spa is relaxing and clean and the concierge is excellent. Ajay helped me get my suitcase fixed promptly and personally delivered it to me as well as getting shoppingfor me. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at ITC Grand Chola. The hotel is luxurious, beautifully designed, and the hospitality was exceptional from check-in to check-out. I recently stopped by ITC Grand Chola for lunch during an official trip, and I experienced hospitality that truly went above and beyond.

In the rush to leave for my flight, I accidentally left my laptop behind at the restaurant. I only realized this after reaching the airport, and understandably, it was quite a stressful moment.

I immediately contacted the hotel, and I was connected to Habib, the Chief Concierge. From that moment onward, the way he handled the situation was simply exceptional. He acted with incredible speed and professionalism — quickly locating my laptop, sending me a photograph for confirmation, and even arranging for it to be delivered to the airport since there wasn’t enough time for me to return to the hotel myself.

His prompt action saved me at least 30 minutes and ensured that I was able to catch my next flight.

What touched me even more was the genuine warmth and hospitality shown throughout. I offered to make a payment or tip for the effort, but it was politely refused — they simply said that customer appreciation and feedback meant the most to them.

A heartfelt thank you to Habib and the entire team at ITC Grand Chola for such outstanding service. Moments like these are what define true hospitality, and I will always remember this experience with immense gratitude.

Everything was wonderful. The restaurants and the room, staff and amenities.
One thing if I was being picky. The room or serviced apartment I suppose you would call it had a musky dank smell. As I was only in the room for one night then moved to a regular room which was great, I didn't bother too much about it.

Our recent stay at ITC Grand Chola was nothing short of exceptional, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for both me and my wife.

We stayed in a Towers room, which was beautiful in itself. It was spacious, elegant, with a great view and a relaxing bathtub that added to the overall comfort. What truly made our stay extraordinary was the thoughtful and heartfelt effort put in by the Guest Relations team, especially Dhivya K.

Dhivya went above and beyond to make our anniversary and my wife’s babymoon incredibly special. We walked into a room beautifully decorated with balloons and rose petals, along with a unique and delightful touch, our pictures printed on chocolates. She also arranged a cake and a traditional welcome for my pregnant wife, complete with a rose petal shower, garland, and turmeric on her cheeks. It was such a warm and personal gesture. My wife was genuinely surprised and extremely happy, and that meant everything to me.

This level of care and attention has made us lifelong fans of ITC. Experiences like these are rare, and it is because of people like Dhivya that a hotel becomes more than just a place to stay.

The in-room dining was equally impressive. The lamb biryani was absolutely out of this world and easily one of the best we have had.

We also dined at Avartana and tried the tasting menu. The ambiance and presentation were fantastic, and while the food was innovative and well executed, it was a bit experimental for our personal taste, but still a great experience overall.

What stood out consistently throughout our stay was the warmth and helpfulness of every team member we interacted with. Most importantly, my wife felt completely at home, relaxed, and cared for, which made this babymoon truly special for us.

We will definitely be returning, and I sincerely hope the management recognizes and appreciates Dhivya K for her outstanding effort in creating such a meaningful experience for us.

The food was delicious throughout our stay, and I’d especially like to appreciate Vyshnavi from Madras Pavilion. She was incredibly attentive and made sure our dietary needs were well taken care of, adding a very personal touch to the dining experience.

Service, hospitality, and comfort were all top-notch. Overall, a flawless and indulgent stay—I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai and would gladly return.
