It was excellent, over all a relaxing stay.
Pros:

The driver Manikandan was the best.. he was alert all the time.. looked after my little one very well. Drove us around chennai to mahabalipuram to kanchipuram and the next day to the shops and then to airport. He knew all the places and was Very helpful and excellent in every way.

And the butler Supriti was very helpful… She gave us the whole tour of the Grand Chola and she even received and packed my parcel while I was out sightseeing. Was always available and answered my calls promptly.

There were couple of other staff like Iqbal and Banjar who were very helpful with packing our boxes.. very friendly

The staff at the Spa were excellent too.. I think one was Sulu (Kerala girl) and the other was from Manipoor.
Both were amazing… both me and my daughter had relaxing massages.

Overall, not value for money.
Pros:

1. Food was decent, but desert options sucked (breakfast).
2. Ambience was good for photos.
3. Only good thing was since we reached early, we were allowed for a early check-in at around 1pm

Cons:

1. The bathroom door was damaged.
2. Smoke wasn’t going out completely through the detector. We smoked over night but even in the morning the cigarettes smell were there and also the smell was on our clothes.
3. When I went to have breakfast, I had to walk like 100 metres for a restroom and there were only 2 restrooms (one for male and one for female). There were multiple men standing outside. For a crowd that large, I believe you guys need to set up more of it.
4. Gym equipment’s were fine but again just one common toilet. No shower rooms.
5. The place is too big, we got lost when we went out in the evening. There was staff elevator before the guest elevator at the Chola. We accidentally went in the staff elevator (it was not mentioned whether it’s for staffs or guest). Then we went to the basement in the same staff lift, and then we were looking for help. 3 staffs misguided us. We had to walk around a lot and eventually ended at the stairs near the reception.

Excellent working holiday
Pros:

The excellent service by Mr. Panda at the Madras Pavillion made my stay happier.

Cons:

The crowded number of people and cars blocking the entrance to the hotel lobby on Saturday night needs to be organised to ensure smooth flow of people and not hinder those trying to get in. That's the only downside I experienced.

Luxury hospitality at its finest
Pros:

I had just stepped out of my cab after a long drive, and it had started drizzling. As I adjusted my bag, I realized my spectacles were covered with tiny water droplets and fingerprints. Before I could even take them off to clean them, one of the staff at the porch smiled and handed me a spectacle cleaning cloth.

It may seem like a small gesture, but it made such a difference. I could instantly see everything clearly again. That thoughtful welcome set the tone for the rest of my stay.

I stayed in 2524 Check-in was smooth and efficient, my room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, and every staff member I interacted with was warm, courteous, and genuinely eager to help.

Luxury isn't just about beautiful interiors it's about making guests feel cared for in the smallest ways. The spectacle cleaning cloth may seem like a tiny detail, but it perfectly reflects the hotel's attention to guest comfort. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. I look forward to staying here again.

Affordable and Responsible Luxury ❗

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Hospitality & A Refreshing Pool Experience! 🏨✨

I came to ITC Grand Chola last week for Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital international Conference , and it was an absolutely wonderful experience.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautifully maintained property, impeccable cleanliness, high hygiene standards, and the warm hospitality extended by every member of the staff🙏(Namaste)

After a really long gap of several months, I finally got back to swimming, and I'm glad I chose the pool here. 🏊‍♂️ The pool was crystal clean, well-maintained, and the entire area was managed exceptionally well.

A special mention goes to Mr. Gokul Raj, one of the lifeguards.
He was alert, attentive, and continuously monitored the pool to ensure every guest's safety. His professionalism, dedication, and commitment to guest well-being were truly commendable. 👏

Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience.

It was really satisfying to see the management upholding such high standards of maintenance, service, safety, and hospitality. ❤️

I would gladly recommend ITC Grand Chola to anyone looking for a luxurious stay with outstanding service in Chennai .

Looking forward to visit this Well maintained property with my kids again !
