Almost everything. We were family of 4 with 2 children. We felt safe and comfortable. Our room was upgraded upon check-in. All staff were cordial. The breakfast was fantastic - well spread and tasty.
I can’t say we did not like - but one mild improvement could be to train the housekeeping junior staff to be more comfortable and confident and keep smiling. Most of the time they were looking very serious and working under pressure. The senior staff were smiling always.
Food was great
Fire all front desk staff, the bellboy had more info about where the lunch and spa are, front office staff bussy chatting and did not ecen care to explain

Not friendly staffs, using bad language in restaurant by the staffs in breakfast, no sofa in the room, tea table is very tiny, bathroom is not as 5star standard
Property is ok
Make sure you dont take a room near pool. Its was mid night and they have organized party near the pool. You cannot sleep due to sounds. Its was very bad experience.
When i called the reception they mentioned casually saying that party will close at 2 midnight
I used to book the Radisson Blu chain for pilots at my pervious job but could never afford it at the time, now few years later and at a different job, and moreover I was to travel to Chennai with my mum to attend a wedding, I decided to try this Hotel and everything about it either surprised me or exceeded my expectation.
I naturally wanted to get the bags myself from the boot of the car, but the porters and bellmen were so quick and insisted that they get the bags and ushered us into the lobby, and seeing them every morning on our way out to explore Chennai or run errands also made me smile and genuinely looked forward to saying a greeting when I returned to my room, bless them.
I loved the breakfast spread every morning, it actually far exceeded my imagination, I'm a pretty simple guy when it comes to breakfast, I was more than satiated, love that I could get my scrambled eggs well done, chicken in rosemary sauce, and potatoes, wonderful fruit selections in the Chennai heat, and an abundant variety of beverages hot and cold, I took fresh watermelon juice almost every morning, there were other infused water as well, and I found myself drawn to the fenugreek soaked water too, the Puri was amazing with the side dish for dip, very tasty indeed, I was impressed by the desserts and pastry too. Always had a few slices of banana cake and mini croissants amongst the many other items that were beautifully arranged.
The rooms were marvelous, it was clean and beautiful! If it is any indication, the moment we were ushered into the lobby a very pleasant and stunning fragrance always filled the lobby air, I knew then that the rooms are on par with the welcome received. I took a inter-connecting room, one with a Queen bed and the other with 2 single beds. The beds were the best I've slept in, in all my visits to Southern India.
Bathroom exceeded my expectation, and loved that there is a bidet!
There was nothing I didn't like, I'm so glad and happy I chose to stay at this property during our short 5 day visit to Chennai.

The restaurant staff especially Mr Das was very polite and quick in service. Complimentary upgrade was an add on. Overall very good in terms of room, staff and services.
