Excellent hotel, Asakusa is a great location. Would recommend.
Pros:

We loved the location … being in Asakusa was ideal in terms of 2 great train lines and a slightly quieter environment than downtown Tokyo and with great access to historical sights.. Our room was big, on the corner with great views i(f maybe the dark decor was a little outdated… but it didn’t matter to us). The breakfast maitre’d was lovely.

Cons:

Breakfast lack of variation in hot main food if staying for several days..

First class, comfortable, welcoming property with beautiful view.
Pros:

The Gate Hotel was impeccable in every aspect. Check in and staff - whether the front desk, the restaurant staff or servers - all are polite and welcoming and helpful.
The room is well appointed for relaxing. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is lovely as are the toiletries provided.
Location is convenient with a wonderful view of Skytree.

A bit of luxury in a central location
Pros:

Room was huge and clean. Rooftop dining was very nice, lovely food and great view.

Cons:

Maybe slightly expensive for what it was. Would be great to have a microwave available for guest use on one of the floors.
