Best place to end my US roadtrip!!
Pros:

Everything! Beautiful interior, well-kept and with attentive staff. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in, the king room was really big and comfortable - honestly wondering why it’s not a 5 star!

Cons:

Loved everything

Smells like dog
Pros:

Service was excellent from front desk to the restaurant. My room smelled like dog. It was gross. Expensive to stay in a kennel.

Fantastic historic hotel
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at the Mining Exchange while dropping off our child at Colorado College. The rooms are spacious, clean and unique in a good way. The lobby bar and restaurant is excellent. And the staff is incredibly helpful. Mark is the official greeter at the front door, and the hotel couldn’t ask for a better representative. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Historic With All the Right touches
Pros:

We recently stayed at the Mining Exchange because it was the designated hotel for a wedding we were attending in Colorado Springs. It turned out to be a real treat. We were pleasantly ungraded to a larger room (502) for our four night stay. The room was spacious and well appointed. The only reservation was the breakfast served in the lobby. It was awkward and very limited.

Very nice, I love staying in historic buildings. Had a bit of history lesson about the building.
Pros:

loved the room and huge windows! The room was not square but had fun shower room and bathroom. I had a small request to fix a wrinkle in the rug and it was taken care of right away! good service.

Cons:

No full mirrors no towel rack in the room with sink. Talked briefly with a woman bartender who was less than friendly.

Love the vibe and close location to shops and restaurants.
Pros:

Awesome, friendly and patient staff. Really cool ambiance.

Cons:

I'd like to see just plain old coffee readily available at the coffee bar. Like a pump pot, standing in line for fancy drinks totally ok. But regular drip coffee should be quickly attainable.

Great Stay!
Pros:

I love staying in boutique hotels with character and this hotel has it in spades. The decor embraces the historic past, and the lobby bar / restaurant area is inviting / comfortable - great live jazz on Thursday evenings and we loved the coffee bar. Easy walking distance to downtown Colorado springs and a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Service was personal and friendly.
