Beautiful peaceful hotel on the river. Favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg. You will see bears! Awesome balconies, pool, and amd breakfast. The staff is so kind.

Beautiful setting, cute
room with fireplace,
microwave, small fridge
and coffee maker. Loved
the back balcony overlooking the lovely
brook. Very good
breakfast

Cons:

Lack of daily cleaning.
We were there 4 nights
and it was only cleaned
once This was disappointing
as the website said daily
cleaning. One day I had to
visit the office to request
clean towels and trash
removal. Unfortunately this
detracted from the
experience.

Cant wait to stay here again.
Pros:

The rooms were great with a wood burning fire place and a balcony over a running stream. Such a great way to start your day. Having a cup of coffee sitting out on the balcony listening to the rapids roll by.
There were a few bears spotted in the parking lot which really made this stay cool. Don’t bother them and they wont bother you.
The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was very cabin like. The room was awesome. The pool was a great was to unwind after a day hiking in the Smokeys.
Will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The rooms were spotless but the hall ways could use a cleaning.
This didnt bother me that much because the rooms were great.

Complete satisfaction.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

Can't think of anything that I didn't like except checkout time. We have stayed at Brookside several times over the years and we always hate to leave.

We were deceived and would not recommend to anyone else and also I want a refund or discount on that room.

The place was not whet there pictures on the site looked like very deceiving.The carpet was old and dirty I almost cut my foot on a rubber strip at the entrance to room.The walls and doors were scratched up bad.For what we paid the room was not worth that amount. When I questioned staff they were nonchalant and said oh yeah we know we haven’t updated those rooms yet. I feel like they should have discounted some of what we paid for the horrible room and deception of there booking website.
