Good place to stay if working in/near Mitcham. Value for money, i am booking again for this week.
Pros:

People were friendly and the location is only 15 minutes walk from my workplace. The breakfast was simple self serve (cereal/yogurt/croissant/toast) with orange juice, tea and coffee available.

Cons:

While the rooms were clean and tidy, the carpet was threadbare in places. However, the price was very competetive so while a little rough round the edges, overall good value. i stayed in room 21, other rooms may be better.

Pros:

Very friendly staff. They couldn't do enough for you especially the lady who cleaned the rooms.
The food was great, delicious and good value for money.

Cons:

Rooms need updating. Carpet is worn and threadbare in places. The bed was hard and not very comfortable.

Perfect for where we needed to stay, clean and spacious and good value for money.
Pros:

The room was clean and very spacious. We arrived early as we had a wedding in the area and the lady present at the property was so helpful. We were allowed access to get ready, and given our keys to save us coming back later that afternoon.

Good base for Wimbledon
Pros:

We stayed in July 2025.
Friendly greeting, all staff lovely & accommodating. A great base if you are going to Wimbledon. Free parking. Continental breakfast included. Room was very clean & adequate for a couple of nights stay. Spar shop next door. Dislikes - carpets needed replacing which did not give a good first impression. No fridge in room. Watered down hand soap. Requested more towels as only one towel each & no hand towel, requested an extra fan as so very hot when we stayed - they were in the room waiting on our return. Coffee cups not cleaned & coffee not topped up. A bit more attention to detail would make a huge difference. Would consider again if we were going to Wimbledon as a fair price.

Very comfortable ,very affordable and very clean
Pros:

Very clean , spacious with an en suite bathroom ,tv and kettle with water , tea and coffee there was loads of storage plenty of parking and with a connecting pub downstairs and beautiful food the man who served us was funny and kind and the room cleaner was funny and lovely too

Spotlessly Clean
Pros:

We stayed in this small family run hotel during the Wimbledon tennis fortnight. It is ideally located just a 2 minute walk to the tram stop with the tram taking only 10 minutes to get to Wimbledon.

The hotel room was comfortable and clean. The shower head was quite low from the ceiling but other than that it was fine for us. We met the person that cleaned the hotel, a wonderful lady named Mamy, who had worked there for 15 years and was so proud of her work. She was a real credit to the hotel.

The hotel is attached to a pub and Sri Lankan restaurant and the food was fantastic.

A great stay, we would return if we are lucky in the Wimbledon ballot again.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the tram, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Cons:

However, the room was not as clean as I expected. The bed sheets and the shower curtain had visible stains, which made me feel uncomfortable. In general, the room did not feel properly cleaned. It was also very warm, and the only cooling available was a small fan, which wasn't enough to keep the room comfortable.

Cons:

Room was very hot . The weather was extremely hot and there was only one fan provided. Room was on the ground floor so for security reasons we didn’t want to leave the windows open overnight.

Pros:

Very close to tram station

Cons:

In the hottest day of London, the heater was on and the room was 33 degrees celcius. The staff did their best to turn it off. They tried 4 people together and it was a real challenge.
Our room was on the ground floor and next to the car park, so we couldn't open any windows.
It was a bit loudy in the evening until midnight.
