Perfect place for a short visit to Delft. Don't skip breakfast!!
Pros:

The breakfast in this hotel is set on Delft china in a room that looks like 100 years ago. In addition the staff member who runs it keeps all the visitors thinking they were in her own home.

Cons:

Dutch homes often have the toilet and the sink in two separate rooms, as this hotel does. I find it inconvenient.

Delft è davvero il paese delle fate! Passeggiare lungo i canali è molto romantico.
Pros:

La posizione: l'hotel si trova a Oude Delft, a un passo da tutti i monumenti più famosi, in una zona piena di birrerie, ristoranti, piccoli negozi. Tutta la zona è molto romantica. L'hotel è all'interno di una struttura molto antica ed è sicuramente di grande fascino.

Cons:

Al momento della prenotazione avevamo chiesto di poter soggiornare in una camera specifica (richiesta speciale confermata per iscritto dall'hotel), ma quando siamo arrivati ci hanno detto che la camera da noi richiesta (con tre mesi di anticipo) non era disponibile. Inoltre la camera che ci proponevano non coincideva, secondo noi, con il tipo di camera che avevamo pagato. Abbiamo protestato vivamente e allora ci hanno consentito di traslocare nella camera richiesta il giorno dopo quando sarebbe stata disponibile (per fortuna!). Ancora adesso ci chiediamo come mai una richiesta speciale fatta da un cliente e confermata dall'hotel possa essere dimenticata oppure ignorata. La camera era fredda, il riscaldamento non funzionava. Ci hanno detto che purtroppo l'hotel è dotato di riscaldamento centralizzato e non si poteva intervenire sul termostato, per cui siamo stati al freddo un'intera settimana. Stiamo parlando di un hotel 4 stelle che dovrebbe avere a cuore la soddisfazione e il comfort del cliente!

Centrale locatie die top is met vriendelijk personeel maar helaas (veel) meer aandacht / onderhoud verdient.

De ligging is mooi centraal. Wij hadden ‘s avonds een afspraak in het centrum en dan is deze locatie goed centraal op loopafstand.

Cons:

Normaal boelen we 4 sterren + dus wellicht is de recensie wat te streng, maar de accommodatie verdient wel wat aandacht. Wij zaten in het 3e gedeelte (het hotel bestaat uit 3 gebouwen) en bij binnenkomst hing een sterke putlucht. Ons verblijf op de 1e was ruim en netjes maar de tafelpoot was afgebroken, gordijn hing half op de rails, de kozijnen kunnen onderhoud gebruiken en het tapijt in de kamer en op de ga gen is ook aan vernieuwing toe. De ‘vending machine’ in de hal was buiten gebruik. De ligging is top, de badkamer gedateerd maar schoon en ook het bed was netjes schoon. Het is jammer dat deze mooie locatie niet het onderhoud krijgt die het verdient. Ook de dames WC bij de entree van het hotel was op zondag ochtend ronduit niet fris.

I would absolutely choose to stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable

It was overpriced compared to all the hotels I haven’t stayed in across Europe. The room was small, dark and oppressively stuffy. There shower holder was broken. It was also the only hotel that asked on arrival for a £100 guarantee against possible breakages!

Die Lage des Hotels mit Innenstadtnähe und das Frühstück

Cons:

Das Zimmer entspricht absolut nicht, auf den Fotos sehen die Zimmer anders aus. Die ganze Ausstattung ist irgendwie total geschmacklos und alt - Spannteppich, Vorhänge und zerrissene Gardinen. Das Fenster kann nicht geschlossen werden und ich hatte das Zimmer gegenüber der Kirchenglocke. Wahrscheinlich wäre es aber sowieso zu muffig gewesen. Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Das Badezimmer ist sehr alt mit einem ekeligen Plastikvorhang. Man fragt sich woher die 4 Sterne kommen. Würde ich nicht mehr buchen.
