Perfect stay for any event in Lanxess Arena.
Pros:

We booked this hotel because we were attending a concert in Lanxess Arena and it was just perfect. We could see the Arena from our room, which was very quiet, clean and spaceous. We enjoyed the large breakfast buffet, and the staff was so friendly and polite. We even had time for a quick visit to the city center thanks to the tram stop being so close. We will comeback.

Pros:

We had a great stay at Hotel Stadtpalais in Cologne and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and everything was well looked after.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also found the location very convenient for our stay in Cologne.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely choose Hotel Stadtpalais again when we return to Cologne. Highly recommended!

Sehr gute Lage zur Lanxess Arena
Kurze Wege im Hotel
Nette Bedienung in der Bar!
Nächstes Mal nehmen wir wieder das Familienzimmer, das ist perfekt!

Cons:

Intimsphäre gab es im Zimmer nicht, sehr hellhörig durch die Verbindungstür!
Man hörte laute Musik im Zimmer bis in die Nacht rein!
Personal am Nachmittag am Empfang war nicht sehr freundlich !
Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sind sehr schmal.

Kellner in der Bar war sehr freundlich
Familienzimmer ist gross und gut ausgestattet
Frühstück war soweit ok

Cons:

Es gab für das Familienzimmer, also für 4 Personen nur eine Flasche Wasser!
Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage sehr eng!
Der Herr an der Rezeption war eher unfreundlich
Fruchtsäfte am Frühstücksbuffet

Pros:

Das Stadtpalais ist nicht ganz so edel, wie die Preise für die Übernachtung und des Restaurants implizieren. Es ist sehr gut, aber eben auch nicht mehr.
Das Frühstück ist aber tatsächlich hervorragend und verdient eine Extra-Erwähnung.
Plus: Die Lage!!

Cons:

Das übereifrige Personal beim Frühstück. Man konnte kaum aufstehen, ohne dass das noch halbvolle Glas Orangensaft abgeräumt wurde, während man sich noch ein Brötchen holte.
