Conveniently, centrally located hotel - but the price reflects the location, not the hotel and room.
Pros:

Hotel is centrally located, 5min from Engelberg train station. Large parking behind the hotel. Room we had was large.

Cons:

Hotel has seen better times; room could do with renovation work and some new furniture. Balcony flooring was mouldy.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

An unexpectedly excellent hotel! Our room had been recently renovated in a modern style, using high-quality materials, and it was both comfortable and beautifully designed. The bathroom was also stunning and finished to a very high standard.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh food. We especially loved the cheese, which we believe was locally produced.
The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.

We are very satisfied with our experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Zimmer benötigt dringend eine Renovation. Bei Reservation war ein renoviertes Zimmer abgebildet, vorgefunden wurde ein muffiges Zimmer aus den 80ern, diverse Mängel… Badezimmer Föhnhalterung mit Klebeband zusammen geflickt. Dreckige Türen.

Pros:

Die Lage war toll. Es ist jedoch schon sehr früh am Morgen viel Anlieferungsverkehr. Sehr ringhörig, da die alten Fenster nicht richtig schliessen.
