Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and decorated nice. Very convenient being right by Avifauna bird park. It was a lovely day out. Public transport is very good, hotel is situated in a lovely area, not too far from main tourist areas.
Restaurant is quite expensive.
Grosses, schönes Zimmer, Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche, alles sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück (nicht im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen) war reichlich und gut. Besuch des Vogelpark während des Aufenthalts war gratis. Freundliches Personal.
Nichts
Zum zweiten Mal da, weil es so schön war. Hauptpunkt ist der Vogelpark, für den der Eintritt inclusive war, auch für die tolle Vogelschau am Nachmittag. Angenehmes Zimmer, alles da, was wir brauchen.

Comfortable bed, lovely food and free entry to the bird park. A reviewer mentioned you can hear the birds in your room but as soon as you close the window it's silent.

Ruime kamer, wel wat gedateerd
Dichtbij het vogelpark. Ruime parkeergelegenheid. Ook vriendelijk ontvangst bij de receptie.
De kamer is wat gedateerd. Opzich prima, alles functioneert. Alleen is het nu 22 graden buiten, de kamer was erg warm en er is geen airco. Wel was er een ventilator, maar deze was zo stoffig en smerig dat wij deze niet aan durfden te zeten.
In de badkamer lag een stapel handdoeken. De onderste 2 handdoeken waren nog erg vochtig. Gelukkig waren er verder nog genoeg handdoeken aanwezig maar het voelde niet heel fris aan.
Ook hing er in de hoek bovenin de kamer een vrij groot stofnest aan de muur/plafond.
Dit alles ben ik niet gewend van Van der Valk.
Bij uitchecken heb ik melding van dit alles gedaan. Er werd zeer netjes op de klacht gereageerd en heeft meteen melding gemaakt bij de schoonmaak. Ook zei de receptioniste dat we even hadden moeten bellen, dan had ze ons meteen een schone/nieuwe ventilator gebracht. En ja; daar had ze ook gelijk in natuurlijk.
Zoals altijd, prima bedden en brandschone badkamer met alles wat je nodig hebt en nog meer. Hoop dat jullie de bureaulamp wel repareren, want kortsluiting hebben jullie niet nodig.
Het weer, maar daar kunnen zij niets aan doen.
Great location with access to the aviary. We had a buffet breakfast on the terrace. The food was great and the view fabulous. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
