Location and staff

Cons:

Lack of elevator. Did not realize that a 4 star hotel would not be equipped with an elevator to get to your room. Difficult for an elderly couple specially with a very dimly lighted staircase.

这是第二次入住阿彭策尔，酒店位置特别棒，是小镇中心广场上最醒目漂亮的建筑！酒店设计十分精致典雅，有着独特的阿彭策尔风格，房间温馨别致，特别喜欢！餐厅也布置得十分豪华大气，早餐精致可口……酒店的工作人员特别友好热情！当时预订酒店的时候，就要求房型选择，酒店很热心的帮忙预留我想要的房间，这让人感到很温暖！阿彭策尔一直是我最爱的瑞士小镇，在这儿无可挑剔，以后都会常来……

The room was huge, comfortable beds, convenient to everything. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Our room was right above the outdoor restaurant, so quite a bit of noise. Also, large parking lot so car noise.

Gut - aber Zimmer unerträglich heiss.
Pros:

Lage, Frühstück sowie Freundlichkeit des Personals und Frühstück top.

Cons:

4 plus Sterne aber keine Klimaanlage - in den Zimmern hatte es über 30 Grad mit sehr viel direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Da man nicht querlüften kann, auch nicht über den Gang, blieb es auch über Nacht und über Tage extrem heiss und unangenehm in den Zimmern.
Zu diesem Preis darf man erwarten, angenehm zu schlafen.

Das Hotel wirbt explizit mit Parkplätzen. Beim Aufenthalt stellt man dann fest, dass es in der Nähe eine Tiefgarage gibt, die 25 CHF/Nacht kostet.....das fanden wir irreführend.
