Puhtaat lakanat

Cons:

Koko hotellissa haisi pahalta, erityisesti aulassa ja huoneen kylpyhuoneessa. Huone oli hyvin nuhjuinen ja huonosti siivottu. Hotellissa ei ole henkilökuntaa. Ainoa positiivinen asia oli puhtaat lakanat, hinta-laatusuhde todella huono.

Cons:

När jag ringde hotellet vid ankomst för att komma in, trodde er personal att jag stod utanför Hotel Dragonen. Följden blev att vi fick vänta 12-15 min innan personal på Västerbacken råkade se oss och vi blev insläppta.

Et godt færgeovernatningssted (Vasa (Finland) -> Umeå (Sverige))
Pros:

Hotellet var præcis som forventet, nemlig et overnatningssted meget tæt på færgen fra Vaasa i Finland. Det var skønt med en overnatning kun 2 min kørsel fra færgen, som kom i land kl. 23:15 (svensk tid - kl. 00:15 finsk tid). Det fungerede fint med en kode til indgang og en kuvert med nøgle. Morgenmaden var udmærket og i hvert fald bedre end lovet.

Cons:

Hotellet var meget, meget slidt og tydeligvis kun i brug i forbindelse med færgeovernatninger. Men som sådan fungerede det og prisen var derefter.

Praktiskt. Snyggt. Billigt. Bra frukost.

Cons:

Alldeles för litet rum. Dålig säng som gungade otroligt när man rörde på sig.

Perfect hotel for a short stay.
Pros:

Location is okey but a little bit a shame that it is surrounded by industry.
Breakfast ok. Room was nice and could even hold 2 giant dogs. Beds where really good 👍

Cons:

What I did not like was the smell when coming into the hotel . Really penetrating into everything. Not sure if it was a kind of disinfectant but that was not really welcoming.

Avoid at All Costs—We Fled After 15 Minutes

On the bright side, thanks to this experience, we discovered a wonderful alternative nearby: Norrkällan, which was even more affordable!

Cons:

Warning: We lasted only 15 minutes at Västerbacken Hotell & Konferens before literally running away.
This place feels like a time capsule—complete with poor air circulation, a lingering moldy smell, shabby furniture, and questionable cleanliness.

*** Do not book this hotel! ***

I will be filing complaints with Booking.com and the Swedish Health Agency to protect other travelers.
