Multiple reviews call the hotel 'clean', 'beautiful', and 'all clean', indicating consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

8.98
Most guests describe the staff as friendly, welcoming and helpful; one report of unhelpful staff regarding a lost bag slightly tempers an otherwise strong service record.

Repeated praise for central, ideal location (walking distance to attractions, on/off main square) makes location a standout strength.
Room Quality
9.07
Rooms are frequently described as spacious, characterful and comfortable with good air conditioning and firm but quality bedding; a few mentions of firmer-than-expected mattresses.
Amenities
8.7
Good on-site amenities noted (parking, Nespresso, fridge, EV charging), but the basement windowless pool and paid parking lower the score slightly.
Value for Money
8.56
Overall positive experience suggests good value, though paid parking and some disappointment with breakfast quality for some guests reduce perceived value a bit.

Fine.
Pros:

Location good. Parking good. Comfortable bed. Price was ok.

Cons:

Was not asked by staff on departure if everything was ok which I feel was a little disappointing. Noisy heating pipe persisted all night. Bath in room which was odd but ok.

Great location
Pros:

Excellent location in the centre of Cognac, which is a lovely city with lots going on. A really nice hotel, with a small pool and a steam room. Parking available (you have to pay extra for parking) but it's in a garage so nice and safe and covered. Breakfast is quite good. The bar adjoining the hotel is nice too.

Cons:

Not much outside space at the hotel, but Cognac has two fantastic parks and a lovely riverside area. There are a few tables outside for a quiet evening drink - but lots of other places on the square where you can eat and drink.
