Freundlicher Empfang

Cons:

Der Ventilator im Bad war sehr schmutzig, unglaublich laut u. muss dringend geflickt werden. Und zwar nicht mit Klebeband.
Die Frotteewäsche ist fast durchsichtig, so dünn u. abgenützt ist der Stoff.

We had a wonderful stay in Grindelwald! The room offered a breathtaking mountain view that made every morning feel special. Waking up to the stunning scenery right outside our window was truly unforgettable.

The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. We also dined at the hotel's restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The cheese fondue was absolutely amazing—easily the best we had in town!

One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its exceptional location. It is situated right next to the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding areas without any hassle.

Great views, delicious food, excellent service, and unbeatable convenience—we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grindelwald.

Cons:

The hotel itself is a little older, but rather than feeling worn out, it has a charming vintage character that adds to the overall Swiss alpine experience. The only minor drawback was that the hair dryer in our room was not very powerful and could use an upgrade.

Fantastic Views, Great Location
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views were absolutely stunning and the location was perfect. It’s right next to Grindelwald’s main train station, but it was still quiet and peaceful so we never felt disturbed by the trains.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very warm and welcoming throughout our stay.

So relaxing to sit in balcony and enjoy the view.
Pros:

Super close to train station and yet not too noisy or busy. The view from balcony is gorgeous without paying for Mt. Eiger view (the view of houses in the valley is great). Great breakfast. Nice staff.

Cons:

The room is a bit small.

Beautiful location and extremely satisfying stay, well worth the price! Could be better with the food!
Pros:

Perfect location in terms of accessibility to train station. The room we stayed in was really big and the views were amazing. They also had a fan which really helped during the summer.

Cons:

The food was a bit disappointing in terms of variety. There was no vegetarian options at all.

Localização, literalmente em frente da estação e na rua principal. Otimo atendimento. Ficamos num quarto com vista maravilhosa para a montanha. Bonito e aconchegante.

Pleasant stay - could have been better
Pros:

Location - bang on train station -can't be better.
View from my room was nice.
check-in was smooth.
Room was well equipped.
All the amenities you can ask for.

Cons:

It was my birthday and hotel did not even care to wish or send a small cake/pastry - small gestures do matter for guest experience. they took my passport and that's it.
Poor attention to details.
