The hotel is located across the road from the beach. It has a large area, a nice swimming pool, and plenty of space.
This is a 4-star hotel, so guests naturally expect a certain standard of service, good food, and clean bed linen. Unfortunately, this hotel falls far short of those expectations.
What does this hotel actually offer?
The bed linen and towels are grey. The curtains hanging at the windows are dirty. The air conditioner is as noisy as a tractor, making it impossible to use at night, and it barely cools the room. I would not recommend staying here during the summer. The soundproofing is terrible — you can hear other guests sleeping and making various noises.
The restaurant deserves special mention.
Every morning, there is a very strange and unpleasant smell in the restaurant, which many other guests also noticed. Perhaps they use some kind of strong chemical cleaning products, but the smell is extremely unpleasant. The tables wiped with these products smell just as bad, and the staff set the tables with the same dirty hands.
Every day, we had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to come and prepare a table for us. Finding a free table was a challenge in itself.
The cleanliness of the dishes was shocking.
This was the first time I had ever seen such dirty dishes and glasses in a 4-star hotel. Around 90% of the glasses that were supposedly clean were actually dirty. The same applied to the plates and cutlery. Many other guests complained about this as well.
There are two large dining halls, but only one small station for pastries, which means there is constantly a queue just to get a croissant. The same problem occurs with the coffee machines. There are only two or three machines serving these huge dining areas, resulting in waiting times of 10–15 minutes.
As for the food, the selection is limited, and the quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Trays are placed directly on top of freshly cut fruit and then brought into the dining area, meaning the bottoms of the trays are dirty and come into contact with the fruit. This is completely unhygienic.

El personal es muy atento.
La amabilidad de los empleados, la amplitud de la habitación, el bufet variado y bastante sano, la ubicación con parada de autobús en la puerta y por las fechas la zona azúl ya no era de pago, la piscina y la salida directa a la playa.
Para salir a la playa te encuentras con el carril bici y aunque hay un paso de cebra está tan borrado que no se ve y los ciclistas no paran así que hay que ir con cuidado para que no te atropellen.
El hotel Best Maritim ya es un conocido para mi, buena ubicación y buena relación calidad precio en todo.
Tuvimos un percance con la ducha que resolvieron rapidamente, pero el olor a cloaca no desaparecio. La habitacion en planta bajja con balcon a la piscina, mucho mas pequeña que las que nos han dado en otras ocasiones, que son varias las que hemos estado, no hay color.
Pero los servicios son buenos, hay que resolver los olores de los sumideros.
Volveremos.

Very nice hotel, great location at the beach. Friendly service. Nice room, we had the one with partial sea view for 2+1. The room was not too big but worked well for us (1 adult & 1 teenager. Food was good both at breakfast and dinner. Overall good value for money.
The balcony was quite small but with 2 chairs& table so you can enjoy coffee& drinks there. Cleaning was ok, however they did not fill up coffe cups/ instant coffee so we picked them from the reception. Milk& gluten free and vegan options a bit limited at breakfast & dinner. Also the last hour of breakfast was crowded so long queues (>10 min) for popular food (e.g omelett) and the coffee machines. The rental bikes at the hotel were outdated so recommend to get them from somewhere else. The temperature of the pool water was a bit cool in mid October, days were still 24-26°C and sunny. The spa was nice but also there the water was a bit cooler than expected.

Todo ❤️ increíble hotel delante del mar, no le falta absolutamente nada, es perfecto 💯 Comida un diez tenía variedad desdé el desayuno hasta la cena, el personal del hotel maravilloso, las habitaciones preciosas y cómodas no les faltaba nada, tuvieron el detalle de regalarnos una sesión de spa el cual disfrutamos ya que no le faltaba de nada y con el lujo del mar delante, cualquier cosa que necesites el hotel te lo proporciona, lo mejor para mí con la playa delante el cual tienes una puerta para acceder, la piscina está delante del mar y luego está la zona premium en la azotea con camas pará tomar el sol y dos yaccutzis grandes un lujo en el centro de Salou y Cambrils ❤️ volveré 🙏
