Sufficient and varied breakfast with a very obliging member of staff. Good sized car park.
A lift might have been helpful.very enjoyable stay that met our expectations.
The location of this hotel was excellent, very close to a wonderful beach.
The shower in the room wasn’t good, couldn’t adjust the head or move it, cubicle was small so difficult to wash yourself!
Room was ok, bed was comfortable but needs some modernisation, looked dated and tired, curtains wasn’t hanging well.
Breakfast was ok, nice selection of food and plenty of it.
Location was good with ample parking. Room was good size and clean.
Coffee at breakfast like water. Not a lot of options for breakfast. Breakfast average but adequate .
Didn't like bar closed by 10.30 last orders at 10. Staff not very professional in shorts at teeshirt on check out. Two members of staff having an argument. Place seems tired needs a refurb. Shower cubicle too small had to twist body to get jet of water .
the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent
Close to the beach
Dirty carpets, very strange way of way that rooms are - long corridors and stairs.
Bathroom not very clean
Great position in the quiet village. Close to beach and coastal path. Good parking.
Pale bedroom carpet needs a clean. Convoluted up and down corridors to get to our room. No fan or air con during an exceptionally hot period. Short on staff.
Very friendly staff & owner, had a quality sleep, excellent food in restaurant. & breakfast was one of the best ever! Defford use again, can highly recommend.
There was no dislikes.
Whilst room was dated the bed was the comfiest I have slept in for ages..... Staff lovely especially Nat at breakfast - which she also made and was lovely and Nat couldn't do more for us. Bar was clean and prices reasonable and staff very friendly.
Rooms dated but clean - had to walk a long way to get to our room. Dogs off leads in bar area.
The location was spot on , only 100yrds from the beach. I picked this hotel because we have stayed before (7-8 years ago) and had a very good stay.
Although it was clean the hotel itself is very dated , the tv stopped working on our second night , we reported it and a chap came up and had a look , but no results.
The shower door didn’t close properly and the cubicle leaked into the bathroom.
We also had a problem with one of our meals , effectively pork under cooked is not good , the server chap did apologise but it was a bit to late by the time half the meal eaten.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and there was a wide choice on the menu for the evening meals. The Wednesday evening carvery was excellent and very popular with residents and locals alike.
Friendly staff.
Welcoming to pets.
Shower did not work.
Overpriced room.
Location was brilliant. Near the coast in the quiet town of Mundesley. Although we didn’t utilise the option you had great opportunities to walk the Norfolk coast.
Food in the evening was great and the breakfast was superb. Staff were on the ball.
Great parking facilities especially as we were on a motorbike.
Bar was great and although busy we had no dramas with service.
The state of the carpet was absolutely shocking. Clearly someone has had a spillage of some sorts and to be honest we thought it was shit on the carpet initially. On closer inspection it looks like some dark brown liquid had been spilled but no attempt to really clean as splash marks still up the wall (see photos). Although mentioned at reception we were informed that they were aware and that some carpets were looking to be replaced. In all honesty, a piece of carpet or mat over the top would have made all the difference.
Friendliness of staff and food was excellent
