Quite and relaxing. Pool bar very good.Rooms very comfortable and spotless. Excellent bathroom facilities.
Food from Nico’s was excellent as always. Had breakfast there every morning. This is our 5th year staying there and we plan to return again next year
Clean and friendly staff
Everything about this hotel was excellent. I emailed to request an upstairs apartment and enquiring about towels etc and they replied to me immediately. The staff,the rooms, the pool area and location was excellent. I will definitely return.
Just returned from a fabulous 1 week long stay at Parque Tropical. The apartments are spotlessly clean, spacious and have all you’d need induction hob, kettle, large fridge/freezer self service laundry and our favourite has to be the modern aircon and ceiling fans. Rooms are cleaned most days which is a bonus. The pool area was perfect too with comfortable sunbeds with mattresses on top and umbrellas which was absolute luxury.
The location is perfect in the heart of PDC. It is a short 2 minute stroll down hill (a very small hill) to the main shopping strip and playa grande beach. There is a hiperdino supermarket located directly across from the main entrance for convenience or a spar supermarket located around the corner which is much cheaper. Also nicos restaurant onsite and the spinnaker anc other pubs on the road too.
My only complaint is the pool was advertised to open from 9:30-7:30pm during summer but the lifeguard hurried people off beds around 5;30 each day. The pool bar is expensive but nice. Staff were friendly especially teresa on reaction who was very kind. Overall an excellent stay, I would highly reccomend and will most definitely return in the future.

Location is perfect. Comfy beds.
A group of people putting towels on sunbeds 1st thing in the morning and by 1pm still not using them. Some had towels in 2 places, in shade and in sun. Very unfair.
Most of the apartments around peurto del carmen are similar however Parque Tropical is definitely the most modern I have stayed in. Nice pool area with comfortable sunbeds and a great pool bar with happy hour offers! Apartment was clean and exactly as expected. Location is excellent, short walk to beach and strip with restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend!
Towels changed every second day instead of daily
The hotel was fabulous. The pool area was just beautiful. Clean tranquil and relaxing.
The pool bar was great. Staff so nice and restaurant was delicious. It was our 1st time staying there and we definitely will return. I emailed the hotel several times before my stay and they replied immediately. Anything requested was taken on board.
Looking forward to returning.

Stayed here end of May start of June 2026 and loved it! Chilled atmosphere, spotless and spacious apartment, with air con and all staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for guests. Food at pool bar really nice and reasonably priced, sandwiches/toasties/ baguettes priced below €7 and come with chips, full breakfast €4.95, happy hour pints €6 for 2 which is more expensive than on the strip. The location is ideal as it's right beside the main street or strip and sunbeds have long waterproof cushions which are really comfortable. Would recommend an upstairs room as ours (18B) had no view (facing wall) and had quite a few beatles, apart from that we would definitely stay again.
