Noise, more noise, noise. Some rooms busy with the police in the them for the occupants at 4 am. It's basically a bar that has some rooms above it, as a result you're not sleeping. No a/c (expected at this price), but you can't open a window for music, people being cautioned by the police and other residents playing music to the break of dawn.

The receptionist was very nice and couldn't fault him whatsoever.
So we booked into the wendover because it was 18 mins walk away from the location we needed to be at (had a property closer, but that's a whole other story) turned up to be told they had put us into their sister hotel. This turned out to be 38 mins walk from where we needed to be. The hotel had no lift, we were on top floor, okay only 3 floors but when you're exhausted isn't helpful. Very small room, no handle on fridge, cabinet needed fixing and there was a crack that lined the whole of the window wall. Bathroom smelled funny and the shower had weird doors, that if you're tipping the scales on the slightly naughty side made it a bother to get in and out of. The light in the bathroom was also on a timer, so would turn itself off after a couple of minutes, which led to an accident in the shower for my travel companion. They were motioned sensored, but didn't pick up motion with the weird shower doors. You also couldn't leave bathroom door open, I usually leave it slightly open, so I don't wake anyone up when opening the door, because the light would pick up every movement in the bedroom. If you needed it on for someone who didn't like it completely dark, it would be a no go. It would turn itself off and you'd have to move every couple of minutes to get it to turn back on. Doors to rooms were very heavy, which I understand for fire safety, but when they're constantly slamming at all hours, not very helpful for sleep. Not hotels fault this one, but coming back from our event to find someone clearly high on something, sitting on the stoop wasn't pleasant either. The stay didn't feel very safe or enjoyable unfortunately and wouldn't like to stay here again. The only upside is the receptionist, who was very friendly, helpful and polite. So staff A+ but hotel a fail 🙁

Stanno ristrutturando sperando delle migliorie. Il bagno con le luci favoloso ma il resto no comment. Avevo optato due letti singoli, un letto rotto e sfondava, ci hanno cambiato la camera tripla, meglio ancora per noi più spazio per appoggiare la roba che c’era soltanto una scrivania. Angolo cucina, frigo, microonde, lavello molto utile per i pasti in camera.
Come dicevo in fase di ristrutturazione ma i mobili sono già rovinati, manca aria condizionata, ci hanno dato ventilatore piccolo. Materassi deludenti.
