Pros:

Bathroom was very modern. Staff were friendly and showed us where to go.

Cons:

Room stunk of cigarettes, tried shifting the smell but even when we woke up it still smelled. No aircon or fan provided.

Pros:

Staff were lovely

Cons:

Bed wasn’t comfortable, room wasn’t very clean and the layout and location of the hotel wasn’t very welcoming, the room felt eery and uncomfortable.

Pros:

Room was renovated and clean.
Simple room for a overnight stay!
parking available

Cons:

Very hot period and no airco! Normally no problem but it was to hot!
Reception and bar were quit dirty.
No breakfast available.

Had all we needed at a very affordable price
Pros:

Excellent price, rooms had recently been refurbished and easy check in and out process

Cons:

No food available but understandable once we realised the property is undergoing a refurb. As a last minute emergency booking it was very good and 30 mins from Heathrow T5

Disgusting, shabby, dodgy and not worth a single penny of your hard earned cash, avoid at all costs
Pros:

Nothing, it was scruffy and dirty, the roof was missing and there were people hanging out of the windows smoking and drinking.

Cons:

Out of the rooms we were given only one had opening windows in a heatwave and one wasn’t even clean, it had rubbish everywhere and an unmade bed, we asked for fans for the rooms but none were available, and even if they were we would not have stayed the night, the place looked scruffy and dirty and there were lots of males hanging about, we left immediatly, i contacted booking.com but have had absolutely no reply, i have used booking.com for years and have spent lots of money with them i will never use them again if this is the standard of trash they have on their site, there’s no way to give a minus score for this dump but it would get a -10 in my opinion, do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.

Felt dupt into staying somewhere else rather than the property booked.
Pros:

We were told on arrival that we were not staying at the Wendover Arms Hotel but at another hotel in a different location!!

comfy bed some staff very nasty and unprofessional.
Pros:

bed was comfy.

Cons:

i left a bag on the seat in the garden of the hotel and when i called i was told collect in 5 days or it would be thrown away. very rude and abrupt member of staff told me this.

The room was clean. However, there was no space to unpack. There were no hangers and few towels. The shower door was broken (it wouldn't close properly). However, the price was reasonable and the service was good.

Does the job for a stay over.
Pros:

Did the job for what we needed. A short stay close to Spartan Race.

Cons:

The noise coming from upstairs. Kids running up and down their room until 2330.
