Wyndham Garden Chinatown

Room 702 was the best room I have been in since my hotel stay July 2026
I will highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Bed is super comfy perfect location subway is right around the corner and everything was clean the bed was super comfy super walkable are can walk straight to soho

Everything the location was perfect close to everything and breakfast was awesome 10/10

We spent three nights in a deluxe room of the 10th floor with a city view. Our room was clean, comfortable and included a coffee maker and a safe box. Check in and out was possible online which made things faster upon arrival and departure. The personnel was friendly. A total 150$ deposit was requested for 3 nights, but was returned within a day. The breakfast was included in our price, it had an acceptable variety of options including bagels, eggs, pastries, dairy, coffee etc. We don’t have any comment for room service since we didn’t need something in particular, neither for the hotel’s rooftop which we didn’t get to visit. Commuting to Central Manhattan was around 20 minute trip using the subway and for the lowest parts a 25 to 30 minute walk. Other than that, Chinatown has many options for food and drinks which covered our needs. The hotel is overall recommended, especially if you’re looking for a place around Chinatown to stay at.

Overall, I had a very good stay and would give the hotel an 8/10.

Check-in went smoothly. They weren't able to accommodate an early check-in, which I completely understood, but they were happy to hold my bags while I went out for lunch. When I returned, I was able to get into my room around 3 PM.

The room itself was great. It was surprisingly spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the shower was nice, and I especially appreciated having windows that actually opened. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely better than some of the complimentary hotel breakfasts I've had elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the guests in the room next to mine. From around midnight until 6 AM, there was loud banging, doors slamming, and very loud, aggressive yelling. Because of how aggressive the yelling sounded, I did not feel comfortable confronting them myself. I looked for someone at the front desk to report it but didn't see anyone available at the time.

I understand that a hotel can't control the behavior of every guest, so I don't blame the hotel for the noise itself. However, guests should have a way to reach someone overnight when a situation like this happens, especially when they don't feel safe confronting the people involved.

Had I actually been able to sleep, I probably would have rated the stay a 9.5/10. Unfortunately, being kept awake the entire night really hindered the rest of my trip, which brings my overall experience down to an 8/10.

Aside from that one significant issue, I was very happy with the room, comfort, breakfast, and overall experience and would consider staying here again.

In piena Chinatown. Camere quadrupla spaziosa, accogliente e ben insonorizzata. Personale dell' hotel preciso e puntuale. Colazione non particolarmente varia, piuttosto ripetitiva, comunque soddisfacente per iniziare la giornata!
Abbiamo gradito la pulizia degli ambienti ed alcuni servizi di cortesia come le bottigliette di acqua in omaggio. Ci torneremmo volentieri!!
