AC weekend in Egg Harbour Township
Pros:

I have stayed there before. Place is in great location outside of Atlantic City. Hotel is clean. Room was spacious.. I like the suites. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Hotel was a little pricey for a non Holiday weekend. Also, when I got there, my TV wasn't working so I called the front desk and the person said someone would come to try and reset it. No one ever came so after an hour I started working to fix myself by unplugging and plugging everything back in. Finally got it working. No one ever came and when I called to tell front desk that I got the TV working I was placed on hold for a while so I hung up. Chair in the kitchen had white stains.

Perfectly Adequate, but looks tired and dated
Pros:

Spent one night here with the family while enroute to another destination. We got the two room suite at the end of the hallway (201). The furnishings in this hotel are showing their age. Wallpaper is delaminating, floor tiles are loose, carpet is worn, minor stains showing leakage and flooding from some sometime ago is apparent on some of the walls. Attention to detail is hit and miss… One of the rooms ceiling fan lights had no shade on it.… Just a bare lightbulb. Assign in the parking lot warned guests that hotel was not responsible for theft or damage to vehicle. Not exactly reassuring. I would stay here again if the price was very low.

I have a wager with my wife that this place will be re-branded to a lower tier hotel within the next two years.

I usually love homewood suits but this one was kind of a dis’s appointment and the pool was dirty

Cleanliness Issues
Pros:

I was so disappointed in this hotel! As soon as we stepped into the room, I knew something was off. The lighting was terrible and I felt like we stepped back into the 80's/90's. The place just felt gross. There was a mildewy smell in the bathroom area, along with a black spot behind the wallpaper above the door inside the bathroom. The shower curtain had stains on it and the tub did not drain properly. The shower would not turn all the way on - water continuously came out of the tub faucet when showering. I didn't think to take pictures, because we just tried to sleep there, then get out as soon as possible. My son wouldn't even shower there. Our room was quite noisy - we had someone stomping right above us at 6am. Will never return!
