Pros:

What we did appreciate was the effort from the reception staff. They genuinely tried their best to assist us despite having very limited resources and being stretched between multiple responsibilities. I actually felt sorry for them, as it seemed that many of the shortcomings were beyond their control.

Cons:

Very disappointing stay – hotel is badly in need of renovation

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. The hotel is very outdated and, in our opinion, does not live up to the standard we expected.

From the moment we arrived, the entire property had a strong smell of smoke and damp. Our room in particular looked and smelled as though it had previously experienced water damage. The carpet appeared to have significant water damage, which made the room feel unpleasant and poorly maintained.

The air conditioning was also not functioning properly. It only blew cool air, more like a fan, rather than actually cooling the room as an air conditioner should. Several of the electrical plugs in the room were not working, and there were no charging points or plugs conveniently located next to the bed. The curtains were also visibly worn and in need of replacement.

The hotel also appeared to be seriously understaffed. The reception staff were simultaneously having to deal with porter duties, which resulted in delays and made the overall service feel very limited. There was also a significant language barrier, despite our attempts to communicate using a translation app, which made it difficult to resolve issues or ask for assistance.

Overall, the hotel requires substantial investment and refurbishment. The combination of the outdated facilities, smell of smoke and damp, apparent water damage, faulty air conditioning and plugs, worn furnishings, and limited staffing made our stay very disappointing.

Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend the hotel in its current condition.

Good but for a used comdom in my room
