Perfekte Basecamp um Somerset zu entdecken und lieben.
Pros:

Grosse Zimmer und Badezimmer was in England kaum zu finden ist! Das Omelette zum Frühstück kann ich herzlich empfehlen. Kate und Buddy sind tolle Hosts und das Bar/restaurant auch fantastisch abends zum entspannen.

Was ok after the confusion, comfortable night sleep
Pros:

Bed very comfortable and nice area

Cons:

The check in, which was very confusing 🫤
I had a message to phone on arrival which I did, unfortunately the owner and the staff seemed very stressed and then was told I had an unpaid bill, but payment was already taken out by bookin.com.
Hope they resolve this, as it made my stay a bit uncomfortable.
Maybe put in the message to check in at bar on arrival.

Staying at a trully dog friendly hotel.
Pros:

Situated in beautiful countryside but not off the beaten track, with wonderful views. Rooms are stable style with lots of room and an ensuite wet room clean and very tidy with all the amenities. Parking is right outside the door with the restaurant litterally yards away. The staff were really courteous and friendly with excellent local knowledge and the food was lovely. Perfect for stopovers if travelling further into the west country, or exploring nearby. I would have stayed longer but they were booked up as I booked last minute. Really dog friendly and welcoming I will be staying again ☺️

Pros:

The location was really nice, being tucked away & quiet. The bathroom was really nice.

Cons:

The extra bed/mattress wasn't very comfortable. Staying more than one night, a mini fridge would be handy in the room.

The perfect countryside getaway: an idyllic location with a pub just steps away, so you can park the car and enjoy great
Pros:

Spacious rooms, location, close to pub, very comfortable bed, great shower, really nice breakfast. There’s a farm shop less than 15 minutes away - added to our visit.
The staff were very friendly.

Pros:

Très bien pour le petit-déjeuner avec un service rapide attentionné et agréable. L'accueil est simple, direct et les relations avec Kate, Buddy et le personnel sont chaleureuses. Très bonne adresse et très bonne expérience client y compris au restaurant. L'environnement est calme et reposant.

Cons:

La WiFi capricieuse dans les chambres et le manque de raclette dans la douche pour enlever l'eau !

Wonderful place, fantastic menu and food, lovely welcoming staff.
Pros:

Everything! Have stayed here several times over the past few years to break our journey to or from Cornwall and we’ve always been welcomed warmly. The food is fantastic, rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are lovely.

Cons:

The only small criticism would be the pillows. They’re not as comfy as they used to be when we first started staying.

Brilliant rooms and amazing location.
Pros:

It’s located in a very nice part of the country tucked away in the country side. Only 40mins from Lyme Regis. Easy to get to and the rooms were very nicely presented. The staff were very nice and made our stay great.

Cons:

The food menu was lacking imagination and variety. Which on a multiple night stay got repetitive quickly. But within 20mins there is some other amazing food venues to choose from. Even though it was a dislike it didn’t put us off and was an amazing time.
