Room was big - we had a family room for two of us - food was good, except I think there could have been a bit more breakfast choice for those not wanting cooked breakfast, perhaps a few nuts etc!!
We did eat in on a couple of evenings, menu was good, and so was the food - Thank you!
The big double bed was comfortable - but seemed to have a funny mattress topper, which managed to bulge up and form a roll every night - ( we were with you for six nights)!!! fortunately the roll was soft!

The room was excellent
The room was so comfortable and quiet. Loved the large bed with fantastic bedding and the lighting with convenient switches/remote re fan on ceiling too - which we didn't need. The pub itself looked good with comfy chairs when we went down for our cooked breakfast, which we really enjoyed. There's also a terraced area at the back of the pub with great views. Although off a fairly busy road in the daytime this was not the case - even on Saturday night when we stayed.

The staff were all very friendly! Good selection of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. The room was a good size and the location was very pretty! The shower worked well and the room was relatively clean.
Breakfast was okay. We had full English and the tomato wasn't really cooked very well and my hash browns were stuck together. However they did have a good selection of yoghurts and cereal boxes available. There was also a very bright spotlight outside our window which made it a bit difficult to sleep.

The noise from the nearby road. The room was in expensive but the downside was that it was very small.

For me personally a slightly more comfortable chair in the bedroom as I can't read sitting in bed .
Great location, very quiet at night even though it’s on a main road. Lovely breakfast with a good range of options and the staff were very nice. We also ate there one evening and the meal was delicious and good value for money as was the whole stay.
Nothing, only gripe was the pillows weren’t very plump and a bit tired but there were spares in the wardrobe so adding another made them to a better level for comfort. But the bed more than made up for it as it was huge and really comfy.
The massive bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean with plenty of room and the staff were very welcoming and professional. Lovely country location.

Excellent value for money, huge room, and comfy beds!
The shower head could have done with a clean and the room was a bit warm but the fans helped.
