Exceeded expectations.
Pros:

The Staff were all exceptional. Very friendly and made sure our stay was memorable. Lyndsey our waitress in the evening was very cheerful and helpful. The room was well maintained and very clean with first class amenities. All areas of the hotel were clean and in good condition.

Would definitely stay here again. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Lovely village yet close to main roads so handy for touring the area
Hotel is beautifully renovated and furnished throughout
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

Cons:

They had some problems in the kitchen on our second evening and consequently the catering side suffered. That said the manageress (?) offered to not charge for our disappointing dinner on that evening.

Definitely will stay again, such a lovely stay and fabulous staff
Pros:

Location is great. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast lovely, everything you could want. Really dog friendly, we have a diabetic dog and they happily stored his insulin in the fridge for us.

Cons:

The only down side, our room had a low doorway into the bathroom, my husband hit his head! Also, very little vegetarian choice on the menu

Very nice place, if we had another stay Im sure it would be a better experience

The Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Lovely bar and lounge. the outside areas were great and the hanging baskets were fabulous

Cons:

There was a small issue in the dining room one the first evening resulting in us needing to move tables to a far less pleasant area in the restaurant which did spoil our evening.
