Wenn wieder nach Mannheim, dann auf jeden Fall auch wieder ins NYX.
Pros:

Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Zimmer war groß genug und gut ausgestattet. Auch eine Kapselkaffeemaschine war vorhanden.
Das Bad war ebenfalls groß genug, mit großer Dusche.
Das Frühstück gab alles her was das Herz begehrte. Warmes (z.B. Würstel) kaltes (z.B. Fisch) und Süßes (z.B. Kaiserschmarrn und Milchreis)
Es gibt eine Bar und ein Freizeitraum mit Billiard, einem Kicker und einem Spielautomat (leider nicht spielbar, da linker Joystick defekt).
Es gibt um das Hotel viele Gaststätten, von denen besonders die Zwickerstube (ca. 2 Gehminuten - in E 3 9) zu empfehlen ist. Sehr leckere und deftige Gerichte und sehr freundliche Bedienung.
Das sehr sehenswerte Mannheimer Schloss war zu Fuß in nur ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Cons:

Das Parken : Eigentlich nur eine bedingt negative Sache, da es ja eine "Notlösung" gibt. Das hauseigene "Parkhaus" kann leider nicht allzu viele Autos aufnehmen, die Parkplätze um das Haus sind alles Anwohnerparkplätze, ABER : und jetzt noch ein guter Tipp, den wir vom Empfang bekommen haben.
Nur 3 Blocks die Straße runter (D3) ist ein 24-Stunden-Parkhaus, das man in ca. 2 Minuten erreicht (Einfahrt links um die Ecke, neben dem Penny). Wir haben für 2 Tage und Nächte da nur 23 EUR bezahlt. Zu Fuß ist man dann auch in ca. 5 Minuten wieder am Hotel. Gute Sache. Also Parken eigentlich auch kein Problem (wollte es nur nicht bei "das hat mir gefallen" aufführen.

Top Unterkunft.
Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt für eine Nacht war durchweg positiv. Das Hotel punktet mit einer perfekten, zentralen Lage. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, dem empfehle ich das nahegelegene Parkhaus D5 (Reiß-Museum). Es ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt und bietet sehr faire Preise. Ein tolles Hotel, das wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen können.
