The cooked breakfast is not very good. Bacon & sausage were overcooked. No tomatoes, no mushrooms & only scrambled eggs.
The breakfast was good and the lady helping with the breakfast was a really beautiful soul, very polite nothing was too much trouble and I could tell she was a very hard worker.
Firstly I paid for the supposedly "premier room" which was an extra £10 and I'm not entirely sure what I paid for tbh.The bathroom door didn't fully close or lock which being in a small room with 3 other people wasn't the greatest for privacy (I contacted staff about this and they said maintenance wasn't in that day) also the air con in the room wouldn't stay on at all, I kept waking up because it was so hot and trying to turn it back on, the room never went below 24degrees and staff on reception didn't seem to care too much when I told them. Also wasn't made aware of the parking charge until after the booking was made. On booking.com it just stated parking was first come first served not that there was a charge. We were only given 2 towels in our room. There was no spoons left out for the tea and coffee and there were small bits of mould in the bathroom round the shower area. I've stayed in a fair few Hampton by Hilton in the UK and abroad and have always been very impressed but this one let it down for me honestly and I think I'll have to start looking for other hotels to use when staying out of Manchester.
We use this hotel every time we visit Birmingham. Was good value, rooms always clean and tidy and the all you can eat breakfast is cracking.
