Je betaald veel te veel voor hetgeen je krijgt.
Pros:

Het was niet naar mijn verwachtingen, de kamer was te klein. Het bed was niet goed, de badkamer was slecht onderhouden.

Cons:

De kamer was te klein, het onderhoud aan het hotel zelf is slecht. Veel stof in de eetruimte, vuile tafelbekleding, schotels waar het eten op lag was slecht afgewassen, eigenlijk te veel om op te noemen.

A comfortable and welcoming stay in a perfect location, with excellent hospitality and a great breakfast.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the centre of Ypres, making it perfect for exploring the town and local attractions.

The host was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain everything we needed to know on arrival, which made us feel comfortable straight away. A real bonus was being able to find on-street parking directly outside the hotel, which made things so much easier.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with a good selection and a relaxing atmosphere to start the day.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Pros:

The Hotel is close to the centre of Ypres & about a 5 min walk from the Menin Gate. The decore of the Breakfast dining room was impressive & breakfast was included in the room cost. The receptionist was friendly & willingly assisted with helping us to obtain a free 30 minute parking ticket from a machine so that we could park right outside the hotel entrance.

Cons:

There is NO on-site parking. Street parking is free from 6.pm till 9.am. but you either need to upload a Belgian Parking App or pay with coins. (The parking meter instructions are in Dutch). We had no coins & the receptionist could not provide change so we quickly went to a nearby shop & made a small purchase then paid 3 euros for 2 hours parking (up to 6.pm).
Our room was on the first floor. There is no lift to the upper floors, access is via an open sided, narrow, curved marble staircase.. The room was clean but initially quite cold. There was a small oil filled electric radiator which adequately heated the room throughout the night. The bathroom extractor fan was very noisy & the hand & shower towels, though clean, were past their best. Breakfast was typical continental with facilities for toast & boiled eggs. Entry into the hotel after hours is via a key code. There is no 24 hour receptionist.
The Hotel was adequate for our one night stay but we would look elsewhere if staying for longer.

Voor een redelijk bed, douche en medium ontbijt is het een mwah hotel. Lolatie is top.

De hygiene. Kamer ruikt naar vocht, die geur zit zelfs in de handdoeken. Slecht tot matig onderhoud. Roestvorming in badkamer en loslatende rubberstrippen bijvoorbeeld
