Hotel am Park - Willich - Düsseldorf - Krefeld

The mold in the bathroom was atrocious. The beds were awful. It is located in a sketchy neighborhood. The main road, nearby construction, and people passing by were noisy all night.

Breakfast was served at around 7:20,i was told it started at 7. The breakfast was OK.

Schon auf der Zurfahrt und auf dem Parkplatz wurde man von Müllbergen begrüßt. Den Schlüssel bekam man aus einem Ramponierten und defekten Schlüsselfach zusammen mit mehreren anderen Schlüsseln . Als wir das Zimmer betraten kam uns bereits ein beißender Geruch entgegen. Die Ursache dafür war schnell gefunden. Der Vorbesucher hat seine Salami im Zimmer liegen lassen. Das Zimmer war alles andere als sauber . Verschmiere Wände, Schimmelige Duschvorhänge, Krümel hier und da . Sicherheitsmängel wies das ganze natürlich auch noch auf. Von eingetretenen Türen über fehlenden Rauchmeldern bis zu fehlenden Berührungsschutz an den Steckdosen. Eigentlich sollte es nur eine Notunterkunft für eine Nacht werden aber das konnte ich niemanden antun . Dad Personal war äußerst unfreundlich und wir konnten uns auf keine Stornierung einigen. Man wurde nur angepöbelt und kam nicht zu Wort.

I booked, very short notice for two adults and our 13 year old son for 7 nights. We arrived at 11pm to, what I originally thought was a hotel, but was in fact a motel. No reception staff so had to phone to get the code to the key safe. Upon getting to our room, only a double bed. Phoned again and was given another code for the key box to a single room for our son, over the courtyard on his own.


I spoke to the reception staff the following morning to be told that they don’t actually have family rooms. Had I know this, I would NOT have booked here. The breakfast, when it was available, was continental which is not an issue but going to breakfast at 9am one morning to find the room locked so no breakfast. No room cleaning or fresh towels were delivered so had to ask for them. I was then told that the room for our son was only booked from Friday to Wednesday and I kicked up a fuss and was “allowed” to keep his room.

The overall cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t great, exceptionally noisy other guests, a strong smell of weed and the road noise was not blocked out at all, despite the advert offering soundproofing. Both the tv remote controls were faulty and didn’t work.


Take this review as a cautionary tale; read the other reviews before you book here because, if I had done that, I would absolutely NOT have booked here.

Leider hat uns nichts gefallen.
die Unterkunft war eine Bruchbude wir hatten ein eingeschlagenes Fenster, sodass wir nachts Angst haben mussten. Personal nicht greifbar kein Respekt und Verständnis. Dreckig müsste man Gesundheitsamt hinschicken. Keine Gegenleistung nichts.

Bei der Ankunft mußten wir bei dem Hotelbetreiber anrufen, weil es keinen Portier gab. Dort erklärte man uns, dass unser Zimmer doppelt gebucht sei und auch kein anderes Zimmer für uns frei wäre. Im Internet fanden wir dann heraus, dass noch mehrere Zimmer frei waren. Nach erneutem Anruf beim Hotelbetreiber und etwas Nachdruck unsererseits bekamen wir dann 2 Einzelzimmer. So etwas darf einem Hotelbetreiber nicht passieren. Zur Not muß er Zimmer in anderen Hotels vor Ort für uns buchen. Es besteht bei dem Hotel ein großer Renovierungsstau. Mit relativ geringem Aufwand wäre die Außendarstellung dennoch deutlich zu verbessern.
