The main reason for our visit was a family wedding and to visit London attractions.

Very Disappointing. Staff wonderful but private shower/bathrooms not actually in your room.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and could not have been more helpful. I arrived late in the evening and was hungry. There were no restaurants or shops nearby but the gentleman on reception very kindly made made a sandwich in their kitchens. The location is also very good being close to attractions but still away from the hurley burley of City life. I cannot comment on the dining area as I never saw it, or the food really. If it were not for the lovely staff my review could have been worse.

Cons:

I booked a single room with a private shower/bathroom. When I went to the room it had a single bed, dresser and single wardrobe, although no hangers. The room was small with cracks on the wall and the bedcovers and sheets, although not dirty, had stains on them which was a bit off putting. The bed was very uncomfortable. The main issue though was that the private shower/bathroom was not in the room, not even on the same floor as the room but, a flight of stairs up on another corridor. You had a key to lock and unlock this. If you needed the toilet in the night, as I did, you have to dress, leave your room and lock it, climb the stairs to the upper floor, walk along a corridor, unlock the door, turn on the light although the switch is in the corridor not in the room, lock yourself in with the key and then repeat this in reverse when finished. The shower had no curtain, the sink was tiny, more like a drinks station, and the toilet had brown stains in it.

Nice place will return
Pros:

Friendly place . All stall was cheerful instead of just doing my job staff. Loved seating out area . Felt a bit like on hols . 24 hour bar is a definite plus when you work nights . Garden room I stayed in was comfy and clean . Cant comment on internal rooms . Will stay here again if they keep prices ok .

Cons:

A bit petty but draft beer was turned off at night but they did have chilled cans on offer and he did apologise 😁
