Good value for money and very professional and resourceful staff
Pros:

The staff was exceptionally friend, kind and helpful. The hotel was generally good and looks better in real life than in pics and in a good, quiet location (some please may not like calm and quiet but that's my thing) and also the receptionists were extremely accomodative. I did not eat the food so I cannot rate it. But my colleagues who were staying at the same hotel said their cheese cake is to die for.

Cons:

I found a used sanitary pad in my bin in the bathroom. Also, the head board in my roon was a bit old and scratched. Otherwise everything else was perfect and I would stay agian of I could

Short overnight stop
Pros:

We arrived quite late. Due to complex road works we were delayed. The restaurant was about to close, but they got us a salad, which was kind. We got the last place in the car park. Our room was small but comfortable and the bed was very good. It is a hotel we often use and we find it very satisfactory. We needed to leave early and did not have breakfast. On previous occasions we have had breakfast and it was very good.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like, other than the major roadworks nearby, to do with a new railway station. Not the fault of the hotel and hopefully will finish soon.
