Pros:

Het is een prima hotel om te verblijven de nacht voor je bezoek aan de markt. Ik denk zelfs het beste gezien de ligging. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk. En het is er zeker heel proper.

Cons:

Verwacht geen grote luxe, maar dat is er sowieso niet in deze stad Maar gezien de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, de properheid en de ligging is het absoluut de juiste plek om te verblijven.

Un vero hotel museo
Pros:

Posizione imbattibile per visitare il famoso mercato a piedi. L'hotel ha un fascino storico davvero unico, sembra un vero e proprio museo con i suoi cortili d'epoca. Un tocco fantastico la presenza del caminetto a legna in camera, che lo staff accende su richiesta per le serate più fredde (nel nostro caso non era necessario :)). Personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile.

Cons:

Essendo una struttura storica, la struttura sente un po' il peso degli anni: i bagni avrebbero bisogno di essere ammodernati e il Wi-Fi funziona male all'interno delle stanze. Alcune camere sono molto piccole, ma per una notte va bene così. Lo valuterei più di 3 stelle che non 4.

Veramente un museo, probabilmente ex convento, a fianco alla piazza del mercato, arredamento antico, caminetto acceso in camera

Cons:

La stanza A1, al piano terra sulla strada, e’ rumorosissima ed e’ difficile dormire. Ci sono stanze molto migliori, ma evidentemente non per chi prenota su Booking, anche se prenota 4 mesi prima

Hotel tipico a pasos del mercado de Chichicastenango. Buenas y comodas instalaciones en un hotel que mantiene un estilo propio. Personal con muy buena disposición.

Cons:

Presion de agua muy baja. De hecho se cortó el agua de la ducha en la mañana. La carta de la cena es basica.

Pros:

Hébergement exceptionnel dans une grande bâtisse coloniale avec feu de cheminée dans la chambre ! Personnel aux petits soins et tout est beau…
En plus, le restaurant est bon opetit prix… À ne pas manquer

Prima hotel voor 1 of 2 nachten.
Pros:

Het hotel ligt pal naast de bekende markt en heeft grote ruime kamers. Onze kamer had ook de welbekende Openhaard waar men zo lyrisch over is en is ook erg gezellig. 1 keer op het belletje drukken en binnen 5 minuten staat er iemand voor je deur om de Openhaard aan te steken.

Cons:

Het eten in het restaurant is matig en het restaurant kan wel wat meer sfeer gebruiken. Dit is jammer omdat het hotel zelf (vooral de binnenplaats) wel sfeervol is.

Pros:

Hôtel très proche du marché et qui dispose d’un parking, ce qui est très appréciable car il est difficile de sa garer dans la ville.
Personnel très aimable.

Cons:

Chambres sombres et vieillottes.
Les sanitaires sont vétustes et il faut attendre au moins 4 minutes pour espérer avoir de l’eau chaude.
Des poussières noires tombent du plafond et tachent tout ce qui se trouve en dessous.
Le wifi ne fonctionne que dans les parties communes.

A pocos pasos del Mercado
Pros:

El servicio excelente, el personal muy amable y atentos. El hotel muy histórico y te hace retroceder en el tiempo. La comida del restaurante muy buena. Y el mercado a unos pasos del hotel, lo cual es lo que lo convierte en el lugar ideal para hospedarse.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff but beds not throughly cleaned.
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

One of the beds had not been properly cleaned and we found many spiders the first evening. We had to have them clean the bed and spray for bugs so we felt safe enough to stay.

Très bel hôtel colonial, mais avec quelques inconvénients de confort
Pros:

Le cadre est vraiment magnifique dans une grande maison coloniale. Les meubles et la décoration sont aussi très beaux. L’emplacement est très bien dans le centre, tout près du marché et de la place de l’église. Le personnel est très gentil et attentionné.

Cons:

Malheureusement les équipements ne sont pas à la hauteur de la beauté des lieux. Pas d’eau chaude ou même pas d’eau du tout dans certaines chambres. Le fait d’être au centre-ville est aussi un inconvénient avec les bruits des bus et pétards dans la rue en raison de la mauvaise isolation des chambres.

Antiguo confundido con degradado
Pros:

La ubicacion y los exteriores del hotel. Personal muy amable.

Cons:

Lo antiguo esta bien siempre que no se confunda con degradado, cuartos de baño por ejemplo, les hace falta una considerable mejora. Los techos de madera (por su antiguedad) son bonitos pero a su vez es caldo de cultivo de arañas por lo que te vas a encontrar a más de una.
