Friendly staff in functional busy hotel and restaurant
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Room was modest size. Large modern open area restaurant and bar, with a few cosy seats in lounge. Free parking.

Cons:

The bed was atrocious: mattress too soft and lumpy and sloping to the middle. No sleep that night.

Buen alojamiento.
Pros:

La ubicación es estupenda para visitar la zona, a 2 minutos del Castillo de Doune. La habitación está bien para descansar, el desayuno es muy correcto. Por suerte también se puede cenar allí, ya que en el pueblo apenas hay opciones.

Cons:

Por el techo del baño había telerañas y un poco de suciedad que no dan buena imagen de la habitación.

Innen optisch ansprechende gemütliche moder-rustikale Einrichtung mit viel Holz und warmen Farben in Restaurant, Bar und Fruhstücksraum.

Ein typisches Beispiel dafür, dass Fotos im Netz einem das Blaue vom Himmel versprechen können !!!
Möbel und Stoffe der Polstermöbel sind verwohnt und abgenutzt. Sitzkissen auf den Stühlen fleckig/dreckig.
Direkt neben dem Fruhstücksbuffet eine "Schmuddelecke" mit dreckigen Lappen, herumliegenden Pappkartons, Putzmitteln u.v.m.
Heißgetränke beim Frühstuck nur Kaffee und schwarzer Tee.
Nur eine Servicekraft beim Frühstück für Bedienen, Abräumen und Zubereiten der Bestellungen.
Absolut unterirdisch für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind die Zimmer ...
"DELUXE" Zimmer hatte ich mit meiner Tochter. Matratzen mehr als durchgelegen, Bettbreite vllt 130cm, mehr definitiv nicht. Waren zusammengeschobene Elemente.
Kein Kleiderschrank, keine Kommode. Nichts zum Verstauen von persönlichen Dingen. Für 1 Nacht ok, ansonsten lebt man bei nur 12m² auch noch aus auf dem Boden liegenden Koffern.
Sauberkeit absolut mangelhaft.
Staub von Monaten, schimmelige Holzfenster, dreckige bespritzte Wände.
In den Schubladen klebriger Dreck und Siff.
Die benutzen Gläser im Zimmer wurden nicht getauscht, sonder mit Wasser und einem dreckigen Lappen durchgeputzt. War deutlich an dem Schmierfilm zu sehen.
Toilettenbürste hat man sich lieber nicht getraut aus dem Behälter zu nehmen.
Befleckte Bettwäsche, Tagesdecke und Handtücher.
Sehr sehr schade. Zum Glück war gutes Wetter und wir waren immer unterwegs.
Die Außenterrasse mit abgenutzten schäbbigen Tischen, Plastikstühle ohne Polster, lieblos gestaltet ohne Bepflanzung o.ä.
Wir haben 2x Abendessen bestellt. Auf den Tisch kam jedesmal nicht, was auf der Karte beschrieben war. Es fehlten Zutaten wie Cherrytomaten, Red onion rings und die sogar extra zu bezahlenden "roasted Chicken tighs" waren lediglich gekochte Fetzen von Hühnerfleisch. Ein ribeye im Sunday Special wäre wohl ein steak... Bekommen hat man gekochten Rinderbraten in der Art eines Tafelspitzes....

Pros:

Onderweg terug naar de boot een prima tussenstop. Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke mensen en de kamers zien er top uit.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was really comfortable and perfect for a one night stay. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent as was breakfast.

Pros:

We loved the style of the rooms and shared spaces. The staff were all lovely and we were allowed to check in early as our rooms were ready. The food was good. Try the coconut cocktail!

Jó hangulatú, kényelmes szobát kaptunk, nagy fürdőszobával. Utcai szoba volt, de egyáltalán nem volt zavaró az utca zaj.

Cons:

A hangosan csapódó ajtózárak. Egyszerűen lehetetlenség csendben becsukni az ajtókat.

Il parcheggio e il ristorante interno

Cons:

La colazione pessima, pochissima scelta in quella compresa nel prezzo della camera. Poi c’era un menù alla carta per eventuali altre cose da poter prenotare. Visto il costo della camera mi aspettavo una colazione a buffet degna. Altra pecca niente ascensore e devi portarti a mano su per le scale le valigie.
