Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Woodside has been tastefully renovated and "Juniper", our double room, was quite small but still very comfortable. The Sunday Roast was amazing! Plenty of parking was available, including EV charging.
Great outdoor area for the afternoon drink. Woodside was a lovely, welcoming place to stay, an easy walk to Doune Castle and the main street.

Cons:

The main road infront of the property carries a lot of traffic, especially trucks. The double glazing keeps most of the noise out though.

Tolles Design und tolles Restaurant.

Cons:

Veraltete Zimmer, teilweise mit Schimmel und Dreck. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen. Die Wände waren feucht.

Pros:

Parken auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz, besonders für Motorradfahrende sehr angenehm. Ein Restaurant direkt im Haus mit sehr leckerem Essen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Matratze war äußerst bequem.

Good location in Doune
Pros:

The staff were very good, breakfast was good and restaurant had reasonable food and prices. Parking was free and easy.

Cons:

Bed was bit uncomfortable and room was very small and stuffy.

Das Restaurant hat sehr leckeres Essen und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer ist Schimmel an der Decke, die Duschbrause ist völlig verdreckt. Überhaupt erscheint das Zimmer wenig sauber. Das Bett war extra kurz und viel zu schmal. Als ob es nur für eine Person gedacht wäre.

Great place, glad we stayed
Pros:

The Woodside is a very nice, clean hotel. The staff are outstanding and very happy to help with anything you need. The restaurant is excellent and recommend popping in for dinner. Breakfast is included and was good as well, a full breakfast is a slight upcharge.

Cons:

Bed could have been a bet softer for me.

In Doune ist man im "Woodside" wirklich gut aufgehoben!
Pros:

The Woodside - da hat im Grunde alles gepaßt! Ein schönes, geräumiges und stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer ("Ash", da die Zimmer nach Bäumen benannt sind), Komfort, den man heute so erwartet, und ein Bad mit einer sehr gut funktionierenden Dusche! Großer Vorteil im Woodside ist, daß unten im Haus ein Lokal ist, bei dem man auch zu Abendessen kann. Extra hervorzuheben ist, daß die beiden Mitarbeiter, die sich während unseres Aufenthaltes um uns kümmerten, wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und nett waren. Wer also in dieser Gegend übernachten und sich zum Beispiel die Kathedralen in Dunblane und Dunfermline sowie Doune Castle ansehen möchte, der ist mit einem Aufenthalt im Woodside gut aufgehoben.

Cons:

Das Woodside ist halt an einer Fahrstraße gelegen, so daß man abends und morgens ein paar Fahrgeräusche in Kauf nehmen muß; es ist aber nicht so tragisch und soll nur der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnt werden.
Dafür hat man direkt vor dem Haus einen schönen Parkplatz.

Goede plek om een dag/ nacht te verblijven in Schotland
Pros:

Gelegen in een mooi klein dorpje. Loopafstand van Doune Castle. Genoeg parkeerplaatsen. Goed diner. Ruim en goed ontbijt. Prima bedden en een fijne douche. Koffie en thee met iets lekkers op de kamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Sostanzialmente un buon soggiorno
Pros:

Personale molto cordiale.
Hotel pulito e che si presenta bene.
Ristorante buono per quello che abbiamo preso.

Cons:

La camera si presentava molto più piccola di quanto scritto sulla prenotazione (10 m2 ci aspettavamo, la camera non superava sicuramente i 6).
Il letto doveva essee alla francese. Ho avuto un letto alla francese per anni quindi conosco bene i 140 cm. Questi non erano 140cm, ma molto di meno (forse 120 del piazza e mezzo classico singolo, ma insufficiente per 2).
La colazione potrebbe essere più ricca o comunque lasciare a disposizione almeno le bevande come i succhi.
