Very welcoming and comfortable
Pros:

The check in was very welcoming,just enough information.Rooms were very comfortable ,with little extras such as bottles of water,crisps and teacakes,all complimentary. Plenty of storage,mirrors,hairdryer and toiletries.Breafast was enhanced continental ( yoghurt cereals fruit and sausage/ bacon bap or egg on toast) and supplemented extras such as eggs benedict.
We ate in their restaurant one night.very good ,good choice,not overly expensive.Checkout time was until 10.30am

Cons:

The net curtains were a bit grubby in Birch room.The windows were old sash ones and could do with repair/ replacement but this did not ruin our stay.We didn't even notice until checkout when we pulled back for airing.few cobwebs in mainlight.

We were welcomed by lovely owner.
Rooms are even more beautiful than in photos.
Staff very friendly and helpful, good food in restaurant.
I would say it should be more than 3 star hotel.

The stuff at the Woodside Hotel next door could not have been more accommodating. Everyone was so pleasant and cheerful
Pros:

The property is in the lovely village of Dune. Parking was excellent, the property was absolutely lovely and we felt very much at home.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, although guests should be clear that there are stairs to access.

Well appointed room and bathroom. Staff excellent but not enough of them. Evening meals mixed.

Well appointed room and bathroom. Excellent and helpful female member of staff. Reasonable value. Haddock evening meal was suberb.

Cons:

Not enough staff - one lady was excellent, but had to do everything. Sea bass evening meal was a very modest portion.
