Beautiful lodge
Room was large and extremely comfy .
(Classed as small double but in today’s standards it was a great size)

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows, poor ventilation (too warm in attic room), en suite not clean with some broken fixtures and fittings, no prior warning about number of steps to room and no other access option. Overall, online reviews didn't align with our experience.

The staff were helpful in storing my bike overnight in a garage. My room was very comfortable and I was able to relax after my bike ride from Bridlington. I had a delicious breakfast that set me up for the next stage of my journey.

Lovely building, lovely welcome, lovely room - for a room described as a small double (due to the sloping ceiling) it was more spacious than many we've stayed in!
