Comfortable Stay Near Lake Louise.
Pros:

Very convenient to pickup stops for Lake Moraine and Lake Louise as well as close walkable to restaurants. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Buy ahead and save option for breakfast. Helpful staff. Use Moraine Lake Bus Company for close pickup and wonderful tour staff.

Cons:

Most rooms were upstairs with no elevator. There are a few rooms in lodge that were downstairs.

Gehobenes Motel
Pros:

Die Lage der Lodge ist sehr gut. Fußläufig kann man ein Cafe erreichen, für den Rest muß man fahren. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und wie ein höherwertiges Motel ausgestattt. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir waren am Abend im Restaurant Timberwolf essen. schönes Lokal, Preise leider auch hier Lake-Louis-mässig hoch

Cons:

Wir wollten den Hot Tub am Abend der Anreise nutzen. Da war er leider schon geschlossen. Man verwies uns auf den nächsten Morgen (ein Montag). Als ich dann den Hot Tub nutzen wollte erklärte man mir, das er aufgrund mon Reinigungsarbeiten immer montags geschlossen sei.... Schade. Preis war für die leistung zu hoch. Das ist der extrem touristischen Lage am Lake Louise geschuldet.

Not great, especially for the high price
Pros:

The young lady receptionist was so lovely & welcoming.

Cons:

Had a room facing rail track, sounded like a helicopter outside your door at times.
The bed had the thinnest covers and no blankets in room. I thought I’d set heating but woke up cold in the night. I did tell another receptionist in the morning that the winter duvets needed to go on beds. She said they only have one thickness, surely that can’t be right?

Pros:

Perfect location, spatious rooms and all the necessities. We were able to book a breakfast for only 10 CAD the evening before and it was really solid.

Cons:

The pictures here on Booking make it look a little more luxurious than it really is - the higher price is based purely on the location, not on the overal quality.

Great central Lake Louise stay

Convenient but costly and a little disappointing.
Pros:

We had a large room with king size bed and bed settee for the third person. Comfortable and clean. We only had an overnight stay and did not use any of the other facilities. Obviously in a very intensive tourist area so very expensive for the night compared to anywhere else we stayed during our tour of Alberta Rockies.

Cons:

We had to open up the bed settee ourselves which was a little challenging for the elderly. Very heavy and awkward. Once opened out it had a sheet and blanket fitted. No pillows so we shared one from the other bed.
The heating system was also challenging to use. No instructions. It seemed happy to blow cold air even when the temperature outside was 2 degrees. We did get some heat but not easy to figure out how!

Pros:

We checked in on the night of Sep.5 and stayed for 2 nights.At that time we also booked the shuttle bus of Moraine lake. The male staff was so helpful and patient.He gave us the best advice. We appreciated his help. Besides, the breakfast was so yummy. We highly recommend this hotel.
