I would try to find an alternative if I was coming through this way again.
Pros:

Location for a stopover was handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

Cons:

The room rates are outlandish for the standard of the accomodation. The units need an upgrade. They are very tired. The prices in the shop are nearly double of that in Lake Louise down the road.

Pros:

No real kitchenette specially thats its hard to find food in the area after 9 if I remember right

Poor customer service and broken appliances
Pros:

Upon arrival to the front desk, ourselves and one other couple had been waiting up to 20 minutes with no receptionist in place. I called the hotel number and received no response. Upon further attempt to reach hotel staff via dinging a bell and knocking on the door behind the reception, a staff member came out from behind the desk and informs us that she has “a few more minutes left to her break.” After attempting to explain to her that we had obligations and were waiting for over 20 minutes for assistance, she continued to not serve us for check-in and did not attempt to find a replacement team member to assist. After eventually checked in, coffee Keruig did not work and bathroom fan did not work. We stayed the night and left very early morning the next day.

Great room with wonderful breakfast !
Pros:

Staff were super helpful and prompt. We were able to check in a bit early. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was great !

Perfekte Ausgangsbasis für den Lake Louise-Besuch
Pros:

Die Mountaineer Lodge ist die ideale Ausgangsbasis für einen Besuch des Lake Louise: Sie liegt direkt im Ort ander Zugangsstraße zum Lake, bietet für Gäste kostenlose Parkplätze und man kann in 5 Min. zur Bushaltestelle für den öffentlichen Bus zum Lake Louise laufen (fährt ca. alle 30 Min. / 5 CAD pro Person Strecke). Die Zimmer der Lodge sind sehr gut in Schuss und offensichtlich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviert und modern ausgestattet worden. Die Lodge bietet für einen unschlagbaren Preis Frühstück an, das weit über das übliche „continental“ hinausgeht und, last but not least, waren alle Mitarbeiter extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Great hotel
Pros:
