We would absolutely recommend the Passage villas and will certainly stay there again on our next visit.
Pros:

The location was amazing and close to to restaurants and cafes. We loved hearing the waves breaking during the day and night and sitting on our balcony looking out to the ocean was a plus.

Pros:

Location was good view was good, hosts were lovely and kind and helpful.

Cons:

Rooms were dated and in need of some renovation, towels and linen were average. Shower was terrible was a huge struggle to wash hair.
No wifi at all in all of our rooms this was really annoying as my son had school assessments due and was relying on the internet that was advertised when we booked.
TV didn't work in any of the 4 rooms booked by our party.

Close to Muri Beach.

Cons:

Unfortunately the accommodation we very tied. A bit misleading on booking as there was no wifi, T.V didn’t work. The water pressure was very poor and the toilet leaked in to the shower. Toaster didn’t work. There was mould also on the shower and curtain. The bedroom was not set up on arrival as discussed at booking for our child.

It was magical for our family, just what we needed in facilities and location

Quiet and peaceful stay in a comfortable and well appointed villa
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, We were right on the beach and it was a lovely and quiet location. Some breakfast foods were also provided plus the filtered water available was very good.

Cons:

The snorkelling equipment was not very good quality and we did not realise how far from Muri beach we were - we needed a car which the owner helped us organise straight away. The beach was not suitable for swimming as the reef was very close and the waters rough.

Quiet and peaceful
Pros:

The villas are in a lovely location, right on the waterfront, however unfortunately you can’t swim there. Nice and close to muri beach though. Quiet and peaceful and we loved our cocktails at happy hour!

Lovely peaceful, private and quiet place for couples to stay with incredible hosts. If we return we would definitely try
Pros:

Was nice and private- each villa is separate from the others. Lovely Island surroundings and right by the beach (not for swimming). The hosts are wonderful; very friendly and helpful and far better servicing the villas than any hotel I’ve been to. You go out and by the time you are back you have fresh towels and the room is tidy and clean.
Loved that it was quiet too and not loads of kids running around like the resorts

Cons:

Definitely have to get a car or scooter to get to shops although you could try the bus but this wasn’t an issue considering how peaceful it is to stay here

A beautiful place to sit back, relax and enjoy the best of Rarotonga
Pros:

Such a beautiful, peaceful place. Our villa was spacious, really comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The whole property is beautiful, from the amazing views over the coral beach and reef, to the artwork on the outside of each of the villas, to the immaculate gardens. Michele and Svein were very welcoming and gave us some great tips for things to see and do.

Convenient & location was central.
Pros:

It was clean, loved the greenery & the gardens.

Cons:

The property is tired & all the fittings are old. The photos did not match what we thought we were getting in terms of space. No lounge area.

I would return to the passage villas. It’s a wonderful place to view the ocean.
Pros:

I loved the view and the decor was pleasant.

Cons:

There isn’t a lot of choice for places to eat in the vicinity. And I didn’t have a car.

Perfekt zum Wellen schauen
Pros:

Extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, familiäre Atmosphäre. Perfekter Ort, wenn ein einfach mal ein paar Tage nichts tun will und den Wellen lauschen möchte. Schöne Villen mit guter Sicht vom Zimmer aus. Dauerbeschallung durch die Wellen.

Cons:

Badezimmer war leider nicht gut, zu klein, keine Ablegefläche. Warmwasser etwas tricky und auch nur am ersten Tag konstante Temperatur. Löcher im Moskitonetz. Wie schon von anderen erwähnt ist die Lage ziemlich isoliert, Fahrzeug empfehlenswert.
