Perfect Balance!
Pros:

Great location right on Praza de Santo Agostiño. Close to everything but not too close. Bars right around the corner along with pizza. Staff was super nice. I arrived in Santiago with a stay somewhere else and plans to bus over to Finesterre and Muxìa for a couple of days. This was my lodging for my last night in Santiago. The staff was super nice and stored my luggage in the gap so I could travel with only my backpack over to the coast. Made life so easy!!

Would recommend this hotel
Pros:

The buffet breakfast was very good. I loved the fact that the beautiful old church was diagonally opposite the restaurant. I so appreciated that there is a lift to the upper floors. The staff were lovely. There was also a little heater with a small rail on top in the bathroom. This meant I could dry my socks that got wet in the rain!

Mooi hotel, maar ontzettend veel lawaai s’nachts.
Pros:

Heerlijk cleane kamer midden in het centrum.
Stijlvol ingericht kamer.

Cons:

Wat een lawaai s’nachts!!
Continu straatgeluid van luid pratende passanten. Dan na middernacht komt de vuilniswagen langs en s’ochtends vroeg, aanlevering van allerlei goederen in de stad.
Omdat er geen airco was, had ik het raam open voor frisse lucht.

Not a Michelin breakfast
Pros:

The location of the hotel is ideal for the Cathedral and the centre of the old town.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable.
We dined in the restaurant one evening.
The service and food were both very good, and whilst the opticians for gluten and dairy free were limited, I felt confident the staff respected them and kept me safe.

Cons:

Breakfast choices were limited, especially for someone with gluten and dairy restrictions.
The gluten free bread option was poor. No plant based yogurt. No gluten free cereal.
The fruit options were limited. The eggs were hard boiled only. Plus an extra charge for expresso coffees.
My friend had stayed here 3 years earlier and felt the offering had declined.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Herzen von Santiago
Pros:

Super Lage im Herzen von Santiago. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Kathedrale, Pilgerbüro, Altstadt, Bahnhof……sehr nettes Hotel, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: es war relativ kühl im Zimmer, aber da es im Frühjahr war, war es nicht wirklich ein Problem.

Demasiado caro para lo que ofrecen

Lo mejor la ubicación es lo único bueno que tiene

Cons:

Un precio desorbitado teniendo en cuenta que por ejemplo la bañera tenía desconchones,las luces eran patéticas la habitación pequeña no había enchufes y no había sitio ni para dejar la maleta y después de lo que vale la habitación te cobran 4 euros y medio por tasa turística
