An enchanting alpine retreat full of unique character and warmth—we will definitely be returning!
Pros:

Our stay felt like an absolute fairy tale; the extraordinary interiors, rich in handcrafted woodwork and classic alpine charm, give the hotel an unforgettable personality. The location is unbeatable, tucked away in a quiet corner yet just a minute’s walk from the train station and Gornergrat Bahn. On top of that, the stunning spa and pool grotto provided the perfect, cozy retreat to unwind.

Cons:

The only minor detail missing in the room was a corkscrew/wine opener to enjoy an evening bottle of wine by ourselves. While the vintage, eccentric style is full of charm, a few small room amenities could benefit from subtle modern updates.

Hotel mit Chaletcharakter
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Bahnhof, zentral und doch ruhig. Die plüschige Chaletromantik macht es zu einem kuscheligen Rückzugsort. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist großzügig und erfüllt bestimmt jeden Wunsch. Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet.
Da wir ausgezeichnetes Wetter hatten, haben wir den Wellnessbereich leider nicht genutzt, haben dafür die Umgebung umso mehr genossen.
Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade in die Luxussuite erhalten. Was will man mehr zum Hochzeitstag?

Excellent chalet with great location, staff, and breakfast.
Pros:

Excellent Chalet experience well located near train station. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room.

Cons:

Your phone’s walking direction take you the most direct route to hotel which leads you to a large stair which is a problem if you’re wherling your bags. You can continue on the street around to the left and wheel your bags or call the hotel to pick you up with their cart.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Hervorragende Lage, 3 Min zu Fuß vom Gornergrat-Bahnhof. Abholung mit Elektrotransport des Hotels vom Bahnhof (auch 3 Min zu Fuß). Als kostenloser Service: Fahrt zum Helikopter-Airport (15 Min zu Fuß).
